The next two weeks passed without much incident, (Y/N) had spent almost all her time outside of class in the broadcasting room with everyone. Her and Sakura had become closer as she had started to help with the rumours more often, Tsukasa had somehow become even more clingy though she didn't know how it was possible. A few other things had changed around the school as well, hall monitors and security cameras were installed when the students returned from their weekend break which made it more difficult to sneak to the old building but thankfully the staff were oblivious to the apparitions around campus so the old building remained untouched except for when the hall monitors went through it at the end of the day to send students home for the day.

The student council was still on edge after Teru's "accident" and had been increasingly nosy during lunch, lurking around the school to check for any dangers the hall monitors may have missed. But as far as she could tell they didn't have any solid evidence on who was responsible for his injuries thankfully, the (h/c) haired girl still felt anxious whenever she spotted them during lunch as if her sins were branded on her skin for everyone to see so she tried to avoid them whenever possible.

The dismissal bell released the students out of their classrooms as the (h/c)- haired girl gripped her bag and left behind her classmates before making her way upstairs to wait outside Sakura's classroom before her green-haired senpai appeared after a few minutes. She has a small smile on her face at the sight of (Y/N) before a shout attracted their attention to one of the hall monitors scolding a boy who looked like a deer caught in headlights for a few seconds as she finished lecturing him before making her way down the hall towards the pair of girls. She paid them no attention as she passed, however (Y/N) shivered slightly regardless before whispering to Sakura. "The monitors are kinda scary." Sakura nodded slightly and muttered into her ear. "Not as scary as Tsukasa." (Y/N) laughed quietly, her face warming at his name before replying. "Definitely not."

The pair of girls gradually made their way to the old building, chatting and being careful to avoid the gaze of the hall monitors before making it to the entrance. As they made their way inside (Y/N) turned to Sakura, "Do you need some help with the next rumour?" The greenette shook her head. "I can handle it, but your always welcome to-" She was cut off by a loud greeting from behind them. "My lady!" The pair turned to see Natsuhiko waving at them, Sakura's cold mask fell back into place as the boy caught up with the both of them. Giving a small wave to the (h/c)- haired first year before turning to stare longingly at Sakura. "I have missed your beautiful face~" She simply said nothing and gently grasped (Y/N) by the hand before resuming the trek to the broadcasting room.

Sakura headed inside first, followed by Natsuhiko who was still trying and failing to get her attention. (Y/N) followed them inside, taking a seat next to Sakura and pulling out one of the books the greenette had lent her. She was lost in the book when a loud noise and arms wrapping around her neck snapped her back to reality. She turned her head to see Tsukasa, his sharp fangs showing in a wide grin as a warm feeling spread like honey through her and she returned a small smile. "Hi Tsukasa." He rested his chin on her shoulder and whined in her ear. "I missed you! Why didn't you visit yesterday!" She bit her tongue in reply, she hadn't been able to avoid the hall monitors the previous day so she had gone home for the night for what felt like the first time in forever.

"Sorry Tsukasa but everyone was on edge yesterday and I couldn't sneak away." He looked disappointed but didn't pester her further as he released her to drift over to Sakura. "So what's the rumour for today Sakura?" He had a mischievous grin plastered on his face as the intercom crackled to life and she slipped on a pair of headphones. "Let me think.."

(Y/N) sat in silence as they worked on the rumour before taking notice of Mitsuba sitting in another corner of the room, he noticed her glancing at him and she gave him a small wave. He had a somewhat sceptical look on his face before returning the greeting, his scepticism briefly morphed to unease as she moved to sit near him on the comfort of the couch. He remained silent for a few awkward moments before she tried to break the tension. "How long have you been a part of the broadcasting club Mitsuba?" He was silent for another moment before responding. "A few weeks." She hadn't seen him much when she would visit after classes but he would appear every now again. "How come I don't see you around here that much?" He glanced at the trio still gathered around the intercom before responding. "Being a wonder is keeping me busy." Shock briefly ran through her mind, no one had mentioned that he was one of the wonders before!

"I didn't know you were a wonder." He had a cocky look on his face as he turned his gaze back to her. "Of course you wouldn't know, seems your lacking in both looks and brains, dumb bunny." She froze in confusion for a moment before he continued to insult her. "What? Did my cuteness go to your head and destroy whatever was left up there? Or were you always this slow?" Confusion kept her paralyzed for a few moments as he continued before Sakura finished spreading the latest rumour and shut off the intercom. The pink spirit wore an innocent look on his face as irritation spread through her gut. He wordlessly stood up, an infuriating smile on his face as he spoke before vanishing through a mirror on the wall. "Nice to meet you (Y/N)! See you later!" She wordlessly rolled her eyes and bit the inside of her cheek as Sakura took a seat next to her. "Seems you made a new friend." The girl gave her a blank stare before staring at the mirror where he disappeared. "He's certainly.. interesting." She heard a small giggle from the greenette as she turned her gaze back to her.

"He may be "interesting" but he's a good spirit at heart." Sakura said with calm conviction as doubt and curiosity mixed in the pit of her stomach before she was tackled into a hug by Tsukasa. Her skin felt warm as he pulled back to stare at her for a few seconds before laughing to himself and kissing her cheek. The warmth exploded as pink spread across her face and he laughed again. "Your adorable    (Y/N)." Her heart pounded in her chest before Natsuhiko pried the spirit off of her and she took a small breath before giving a nod of gratitude to the brunette.

The warning bell rang through the building and disappointment sat like a stone in her stomach as Tsukasa mirrored her expression. Natsuhiko released the apparition as Sakura rose to her feet and made her way to the door before turning to glance at the first year. "We'll wait outside." She nodded as the pair left the room before turning her attention back to Tsukasa. He gave her a pleading look as he sat next to her and rested his head on her lap, wide eyes staring up at her as he spoke. "Do you have to go?" She nodded before speaking. "I have to, they'll notice if I'm not there Tsukasa I don't want to get in trouble and draw attention to myself right now." He tried to change her mind however she didn't budge, he let out a sad but frustrated sigh before eventually letting it go and wrapping her in another hug. He pulled back after a few moments to gaze at her with a worried look in his eye. "You'll come back right?" She wordlessly nodded and made her way to the door before she felt a hand clutch her wrist and a voice near her ear. "One more thing." She glanced to face the apparition before a soft pair of lips were pressed against hers, heat jumped to her cheeks and he pulled away after a few moments. She was speechless as he grinned and held out her bag, though she saw some colour in his cheeks as well. She wordlessly took it and opened the door to join Sakura and Natsuhiko outside.

Sakura had a concerned look in her eyes as the (h/c)- haired girl shut the door behind herself. "Did Tsukasa do something (Y/N)?" The first year simply stared at her before shaking her head, half annoyed half happy as they walked away from the broadcasting room. "Don't ask."

So wow it's been a long time since I've written anything, I wasn't sure if I was ever going to come back to this story but my break was definitely something I needed, but seriously thanks for the continued support I know this chapter is mainly filler but I want to start off with something light for my first chapter in months.
