Y/N POV

Arriving at the coffee shop anteiku in my uniform I enter, the bell jingles. I take a seat and see two employees yelling at each other a girl with purple hair and grey eyes and the other with orange hair and orange eyes wearing glasses, behind the counter is a big friendly looking guy with brown hair

Purple: "because you suck so hard at everything else" she shouts at orange hair

I wave to the guy be behind the counter and then raise my voice

Y/N: "could I please get a coffee (reference)

This causes the pair to stop arguing and go to work the big guy comes over to me and introduces himself and thanks me for getting the two to stop fighting

Y/N: it was nothing but I could do with a hand

Enji: what do you need

Y/N: as you can tell by my uniform I work for the CCG and am looking through establishments for three main ghouls

Enji: who are they

Y/N: eye patch, rabbit and the gourmet, so if you wouldn't mind can I question everyone in the building

As I say this a child walks in with a tall guy with white ish hair she takes off a wig not realising I am here

'If i recall correctly Amon's reports said there was a child with brown hair who happened to be a chimera, he labelled her the daughter ghoul I think'

Y/N: never mind that I think I found one of my secondary prey

The child spotted me and appeared to start panicking, probably due to my uniform and it being similar to Mado's since they killed her mother.

Y/N: you do all know that sheltering a ghoul is strictly a capital offence

White-hair: don't try anything investigator she isn't a ghoul

Y/N: only four types of people shelter ghouls, family, friends, suicidal idiots and other ghouls, and since my predecessor killed her family that crosses family off the list, friends unlikely she is just a child and isn't in education so not friends, suicidal idiots also unlikely this place is too well run to risk such, so that leaves... ghouls though do correct me if I am wrong

I say all this with my smile slowly growing more sinister with every sentence causing them all to start worrying and grow more tense, now time to completely confuse them, after all if they are confused they won't expect me to attack or stab them in the back.

Y/N: but I don't care she isn't on my main list and thus she matters little though if I recall there are still other employees here who I need to question, unless of course you all are ghouls then I would need to start fighting

This as planned confuses them and I see another employee come out from the back he had black hair, a medical eye patch over his left eye and also had grey eyes.

'Maybe he is eye patch then I will need to start causing a bit of trouble'

Y/N: you over there eye patch, may I talk to you

He looked surprised
Black hair: me?

Y/N: well yes, you're the only one here with an eye patch are you not

Black hair: okay then

He comes and sit across from me on my table, I interlock my fingers pushing my thumbs against each other

Y/N: okay introductions are a good thing to start with my name is Y/N L/N, I am a special ghoul investigator, and I am 25 years old, also would you like a sandwich
