✶ HOW YOU MET

-you were coach bombay's niece

-his sister brought you up to the rink where the boys were having practice

-and you three were just watching them practice while coach bombay was talking about his team

-he told you their names and which number they were so you'd know who he was talking about

-when he got to talking about charlie he noticed you were kinda dazing out and he started laughing a bit and stopped talking

-you just whatched how he flowed on the ice and how he was fast to get the puck to the other players

-he was great on his own, but he also had teamwork skills

-you didnt even realize that your uncle had stopped talking

-and that he waved a hand infront of your face

-"y/nnn." he dragged out your named
multiple times and shook you by your shoulder until he finally got your attention

-you snapped out of your daze and just looked at your uncle and he just started giggling a little bit

-"ooh, y/nn."

-"i saw allll of that."

-he started waving his finger in the air at your face and how you were staring at charlie

-"i was not staring at him!"

-"you cant even try to lie! I watched you the whole time you were spacing out and staring at him."

-he was just a smiling as he was teasing you

-he thought it was cute and funny

-charlie and his team mates started skating y'alls way to come cooldown and chill out after practicing

-"That was great you guys!"

-"Goldberg, nice goalie-ing!"

-"Great job adam, nice teamwork!"

-"Dwayne great puck handling!"

-the way he was proud of his teams skills and game, was just so pure and wholesome, his team was just smiling and going around saying their thank yous

-he was truly proud of his team.

-and it showed

-he went up to coach bombay and told him how good the team was doing and that everyone is working so well.

-and when he had done that, your uncle had introduced you and you mom to him and the whole team

-the team was really nice and everyone was happy to meet you

-everyone had introduced themselves and when it got to charlies turn

-he was just so sweet

-and he was so nice to your mom

-"Hi, Miss Y/L/N."

-and shook her hand and said it was nice to meet her

-and when he introduced himself to you, you about melted

-"Hi there, my names Charlie Conway, you can call me conway, spazway, or just charlie if you'd like."

-and he just flashed a sweet smile at you the whole time

-"Hi. My names Y/N, nice to meet you."

-and when he heard your name and saw you smile, he just smiled even bigger

-"What a pretty name for a pretty girl."

-you're heart just melted like a popsicle that a little kid had while he was running around outside in the summer having fun

-your mom just awed and just whispered to your uncle

-"oh my, this is too cute, he is so sweet and handsome."

-you're uncle just laughed

-charlie wanted to get to know you more so after you had left, he had a word with his coach

-"will she be coming back?"

-"why dont you find out next practice?"

-his coach said to him with a small chuckle

-charlie smiled as big as he could and told the coach goodnight and a thank you, and made his way home.
