(A/N: this isn't exactly part of the main storyline but it's what inspired this whole thing so I thought I might as well post it.)

"I'm not the bad guy." Virgil said simply.

"Then, pray tell, what are you?" Roman asked glaring at him.

He shrugged. "The antagonist."

"The antagonist? What?"

The sleep deprived man gave him an incredulous look. "Did you really think things are as simple as 'hero' and 'villian'?"

"Yes?" Roman looked dumbfounded. "Are you claiming they're not?"

"I'm claiming you're human and so am I." Virgil replied nonchalantly.

Roman still didn't seem to understand, Virgil sighed. "Princey, I don't play by the same rules as you. I'm against the system but I'm no villain."
