UNKNOWN'S POV

It was a cold winter night. So cold it can freeze you to your bones if you stayed out too long.

In the middle of dawn an old man with yellow teeth received a call. Whatever the caller said chilled the old man to his bones. He immediately saw the little girl on the operating table people cutting her open and planting the drugs which will awake the powers her subconscious hides from her, for everyone has a hidden power they are oblivious to.

He quickly asked his peers to let go of her and threw her in the mist of an upcoming storm.

The night was dark, as dark as an abyss. The little girl could barely keep her eyes open. Drenched by her blood and snow. She wanted to hug herself to warm herself and to comfort herself. Comfort her self by saying things will be okay, everything will be alright. By lying to herself. Eventhough she knew things will never be the same, but she didn't have any strength so she could only lie their numbly awaiting her death.

She couldn't help but think of things that happened the past few months after her accident which caused her to lose her memories, her identity, everything. She couldn't help but wonder how her life would've been if she didn't meet with that life threatening accident. Would her life be different. Would it be better or worse.

But she knew one thing. There is no humanity in this world. No one showed her an ounce of kindness except the young couple and the girl who is probably undergoing the same turtore as she did just a few moments ago.

A young man who stopped the car to relieve himself saw the haunting scene before him. A young girl, her stomach slit open and blood literally everywhere. He rushed towards her and called the ambulance and tried to wake her. He touched his wrist in hopes of finding a pulse. After what left like a life time he did. It was weak but it was there.

The ambulance soon arrived. She was alive though barely. They informed him that if he was even 2 minutes late that would've been the end of her.

The little girl woke up in a white bed again. As much as she hoped it was heaven she knew it was not. It was the same place were she was before her nightmares started.

Nightmares that killed the once hopeful girl. She will never be the same.

Unlike her past self she did not fret this time. She seemed indifferent. Cold.

Now she did not need to ask for her parents as she knew her downfall was their cause. That's what happens when you hire a lousy assassin, she thought, the corner of her upper lip curling up in disdain.

A nurse was walking around as it was her break time when she saw someone, she never thought she'd see again.

"Oh my god. Vanessa sweetie whats wrong with you. How did you end up here again." The nurse, who she meet her first time in the same hospital, asked. The nurse who gave her, her second name. Rose.

Young Vanessa didn't know what to say. She couldn't think of anything that will satisfy the nurse. But one thing she was sure off was if the nurse shows her more concern she will end up going to her house. They will kill her then.
