"Ms. Najera, you're very behind on your service hours and your credits." Mr. Morita blankly said getting straight to the point. Joe really wasn't expecting that, just like she told flash, she was ahead on everything, or so she thought. Looks like Flash was actually right this time. When she walked in through the doors of his office she wasn't really ready to hear that everything she thought was in fact completely wrong, Flash was going to have a lot of fun knowing he was right to have brought up the whole thing the other day.

Letting out a chuckle, she leaned forward in the seat that was in front of his desk. "Uhh, I'm sorry, what?" She questioned, wondering if she had heard him wrong, surly this much be a mistake. "You're behind, Joe. You're missing some credits that are required for you to graduate as well as community service hours."

The man repeated knowing she wouldn't take this inconvenience too well. He knew one of her dads, and with that came getting to know Joe a bit. He'd become acquainted to her in middle school and saw that she had way more potential then just going to a regular high school, but she just needed to try a bit harder.

"But I turned my hours in sophomore year." Joe argued knowing for a fact that she handed in that stupid paper into her counselor. "That was only 30 hours." He told her as he raised his eyebrow "...you need 120 to graduate." The man added. She definitely forgot about that, she didn't know it was that much, but she should've known.

"I need 44 credits to graduate. I'm getting my other credits this year though. So did I miss any last year?" The girl question with concern, this was not what she hoped for at all. She planned for so much this year, like getting an internship and working hard for her swim team but she probably didn't have enough time to get ready for the internship now.

"Yeah...you missed geometry, and physics." he said with slight cringe since it would be a bit difficult to get them back. "To get them back you can take the classes again which require you to take the tests as well." Mr. Morita advised, he knew she wanted a certain internship through the school, one of the teachers suggested her for it, and he really wanted to see it happen for her. "But I suck at those...which is probably why I failed the tests in the first place." She was always good with assignments and learning but she struggled with test taking ever since she was little. That was something that kept her from getting all A's. She was the type to get low A's and high C's.

"I suggest you study up on then, start taking the classes and take the tests to get it out of the way, and make time to get some hours in for community service." The man suggested with an understanding tone. "That's gonna be so hard. I mean I have swim, I'm the captain, and I'm already doing my studies in political science with the history teacher." The girl complained with a short sigh.

"Well if you really want that internship from his you should get on top of your credits and hours. As for you being the captain, you're supposed to be the role model. You're a great swimmer, it would be a shame if grades kept you from bringing home wins."

Running her hands through her hair, she have a few nods. She was supposed to be an example for her team, especially the freshman swimmers. "I know, you're right..." there was no way out of this, she couldn't just ignore it. It would catch up to her sooner or later. "I'll call your dads and tell them what's going on, you're not in trouble Joe. You're a good kid, and I really want to see you graduate. Study for the two classes and get those hours. Are we clear?"

"Yes sir." Joe answered as she got up from the seat and grabbed her bag, throwing it over her shoulders before leaving the office. Well this just bummed her out, but she took this as a wake up call. Without knowing it, she was practically running away from all that stuff, and she was guilty of putting her sport before school which was a big no-no with her parents. "How'd it go fatty?" Flash questioned while leaning off the wall next to the door. Considering that it took her so long he was guessing it didn't go as planned.
