chapt. 3

𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮

We quietly eat ramen and write down notes for the next couple hours. I wouldn't say it was awkward but there was a tense feeling in the air and it wasn't comfy

But after awhile a conversation breaks the thin cold ice between us.

"I'm exhausted, wanna take a break?" I say falling into my bed

"Yeah let's take a break, oh and y/n you're actually really smart. Unlike me I have to study hard to get good grades" he says rubbing the back of his neck

"Seriously?? I thought you were some nerd or something. Let me see what you got on the last test" I say surprised

"I got a 52 percent" he frowns

"that's unexpected" I laugh

"Let's get out and eat dinner" I grab his hand

"Sure" he smiles

We leave all our studying behind and walk down to a nearby sushi grill close to my house. You can smell the sweet aroma of meat being grilled from outside. I'm so hungry

"Is this place fine?" I point

"Oh, yeah this place is fine!" He nods

"Good cus you're gonna love it" I say dragging him inside.

We get seated

"So what do you wanna eat?" I ask curiously

"Hmm I don't know yet actually, y/n you order first and I'll order afterwards" he says

"Okay sure, Well I'm getting the crab sushi rolls with an extra side of soy sauce and a lemonade" I say

"Hmm I'll get that too then" he says

We both order, should I ask him questions?

"So miyamura, what's the story behind your piercings?" I ask

"You really wanna know?"

"Yeah I do" I respond

"You know those impulsive decisions you make" he says

"What did your parents say" I laugh

"Well my mom wasn't too happy" he laughs

"Here's your food" the waiter interrupts

"Thank you" we both say in unison

We both split our chopsticks
"Let's dig in" we say

We both make eye contact. I'm usually fine with looking at people in their eyes but this stare made me wanna look away. He's so handsome it hurts
