chapt. 25

𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮.
2 years ahead

Ive been visiting y/n everyday for 2 years. Even when I finished high school and moved an hour away for college I still visit her every evening at 6pm.

The doctors say that her body is fully healed and when she wakes up she'll be more than healthy and can be discharged from the hospital.

I just have this gut feeling she'll wake up soon.

At least that's what I hope.

I always check my phone to see if she woke up and somehow texted me. I know it's stupid to think that's the first thing she'll do when she wakes up but that's my hope.

I just really wanna see her right now.

To bad I'm in class.

Sometimes I visit y/n with my three friends and sometimes shindou if he's not busy. They are just as excited for her to wake up as I am.

But as long as she's still alive I'm happy.

*ping*

My phone goes off. Probably some random text message again.

"hey dummy"

*insert picture of you smiling in your hospital bed and a peace sign*

She's awake.

I run down all the way to the train station and get the quickest ride to her.

45 minutes, why can't it be faster

"wait for me" I text back.

"Nah I have to go run a mile or two real quick brb" she texts back.

I finally get dropped off and sprint all the way to her hospital.

I'm not athletic by all means but I could've won the Olympics with how fast I ran.

I finally make it to the hospital and ask the receptionist for a visitors pass.

She hands me it and I again run all the way upstairs to her.

I finally arrive at her room.

I'm nervous to open this door.

What if she doesn't like me? My hair is all grown out again and I'm much taller.

"Miyamura?" Her face full with shock as I open the door.

I run all the way to her and give her the tightest hug. I don't wanna let go, not again.

"I've been waiting for you" she pinches my cheek

"I've been waiting two years" I grin.

"It's been two years??!" She jumps up

"and you, ahh you're so pretty as always" she runs up to hug me and play with my hair

"Why are you so tall"

"Who knows" I laugh

"I kept our promise" she gives me a thumbs up and smiles

"I know and I'm forever grateful" I pick her up and twirl her around.

She still has that similar warmth around her.

"I love you y/n" I say in a serious tone.

"I love you too" she smiles

"don't ever leave me again" I pinch her cheeks

"Okay okay! I wont" she laughs

I call the rest of our friends to tell them the good news and they arrive instantly to see y/n, I've never seen some of them so happy.

They tell her all the stories of what has been going on for the past two years

She looks so happy.

Her smile

I can't stop staring.

"What's wrong?" She looks over to me

"Nothing" I wave my hands

"Are you sure" she gets closer to me

"Yeah?"

"Liar" she messes my hair up

"I missed you" she says when everyone leaves

"and you think I didn't" I laugh

"I still can't believe you waited 2 years for me" she covers her face and starts to roll around in her bed

"Well it's always been you y/n, you're the one I love and the one I'll always love"

"So cliche" she throws a pillow at me and cracks up laughing

"What it's true" I smile

We look at each other and smile.

It's always been you y/n.
