Hehe this is Derek's POV but in like third person. Enjoy ;)

Derek was frowning slightly while looking around the slightly trashed living room.

"Uh where's your band mates?" He asked dumbly

"They went back to Australia" Luke answered from the kitchen. Derek saw the journal laying on the table and picked it up. He opened to the first page and saw the first entry.. He slightly cringed at the writing

"What are you doing with that?!" Luke asked harshly causing Derek to jump.

"I uh jus--"

"Don't touch that" Luke snapped while ripping it out of his hands. Derek brushed his fingers through his dyed hair and sat on the couch

"So what happened in this nightmare?" Derek asked

"It was Michael" Luke mumbled drinking from the bottle of alcohol

"Look maybe you shouldn't be drinking--"

"You're suppose to be here to help me" he said while frowning. He obviously drank before Derek got there.

"I just don't want this anymore" Luke muttered while taking another swig

"What anymore?"

"All this pain" Luke said dully. Derek gave him a sympathetic look.

"Here maybe you should try to sleep again. I'll be here when you wake up" Derek said helping him upstairs to his room

"How did you know which one was my room?" Luke slurred slightly

"Uh took a guess?" He was getting ready to open the door until

"I wanna sleep in Mikey's room" Luke mumbled Derek turned around and walked straight to the door across from Lukes room

When he opened the door he saw that the room was completely clean except for the bed which the blankets were thrown everywhere. He set Luke down on the bed and put the covers over the boy's body.

As soon as he was tucked in Luke immediately passed out. Derek sighed and leaned down so his face was right by Lukes.

"I'm so sorry about everything Luke. You'll understand soon" he whispered he walked into the bathroom

Derek.. He's helping me. He's distracting me from reality
