she won't be able to laugh till her gut hurts. She won't be able to listen to her favorite songs anymore because of him. Cordelia won't be able to ever have those sudden bursts of happiness when she finds out something has worked to plan. Her face won't hurt after smiling so hard.

She'll never get the feeling off making other people laugh and how amazing it feels. Cordelia won't be able to see the fucking stars on a clear night sky ever again because of your evil mind. I'll never get to watch the waves crash on the shore with her like I do in my dreams. Cordelia won't be able to feel the way love does because of you.

I'll never be able to feel the touch of her skin ever again or hold her in my arms.

She won't be able to watch the rain and feel it's cold wet touch because of you.

-5 hours prior-

The hospital wing absolutely erupted when Pansy was the one to find the two in the bathroom. Draco played it off as an attempted suicide, but the truth will be soon uncovered. He disappeared from the mess before anyone could start asking questions on what the hell is happening.

Questions were being thrown left and right about where Draco was, why Cordelia is cold and face is blue and to why Pansy looks disheveled and like she saw a ghost. Cordelia is hardly even breathing after Madam Pomfrey gave her cpr and a large dosage of a potion that is currently flushing the water out of her lungs.

Harry was absent from the scene as well as Hermione. Ron was passing by when he heard the loud talking and the often repeated phrase of,

"Is she alive?"

"Who did this?"

"Where is Malfoy?"

"Where was Cordelia found dead?"

"Was it a suicide or an attempted murder?"

Ron's stomach sank at the sound of whatever was being discussed from the inside of the hospital wing. He turned his head to Dean who stood beside him the same confused look and worried expression on his face.

"Cordelia?—as in Burke?" Dean cocked his head back before turning towards Ron. Ron gulped before nodding in response. The two turned looked behind them and watched as various Aurors began to go into multiple different directions in search of Draco Malfoy.

The PA system buzzed and rang over the microphone before making a loud announcement.

"Everyone is to report to their houses and stay there until further notice! Everyone is to report to their houses and stay there until further notice!"

Professor McGonagall repeated over the intercom before it whined and shut off. The halls spilled with students with loud chatter and whispers of worry on what was happening. Many though that he who must not be named could've returned but that was far from wrong. Dean and Ron turned to each other before they headed back to the Gryffindor house.

———

It's been two hours of impatient waiting since McGonagall spoke over the intercom. No new news have been released on the situation on why the castle has been being raided by Aurors for the last few bloody hours.

Cordelia was awake now in the hospital wing that had heavy security at the doors and near her bed. Pansy sat beside her along with Daphne but other than that, the place was empty.
