Author's POV-

It's a start of a new bright day for our heroes and our hero just like everyday was woken up by his buddy's thunderbolt.

Ash entered the dining room for the breakfast and greeted everyone. He greeted them. They greeted him back. He took his seat.

" You know Serena you're gonna spoil him." Ash said as he saw Pikachu sitting on Serena's lap who was giving a bottle of ketchup.

" Oh hush Ash I am not spoiling him." She replied " And after all the training and battles he does deserves a little spoiling."

Ash sighed. " And also you spoil him much more than I do, Ash." She added and gave Pikachu another bottle of ketchup. Pikachu only smirked at Ash.

Ash chuckled and started eating his breakfast.

" Oh yeah professor Cerise called us all." Goh told everyone after they finished eating breakfast. They all nodded and made their way to the research lab.

They reached the lab and greeted Professor Cerise and his assistants.

" So what are we gonna do today, professor?" Serena asked.

" You see in the viridian forest there used to be a lot of pokemons but for a past few days the number of them are decreasing. I want you all to go there and research about it." Professor Cerise explained.

Everyone nodded except Ash. I hope pidgeot's okay Ash thought.

They reached the viridian forest and started searching around. They all especially Ash were shell shocked and gasped when they saw...

A pidgeot...

A pidgeot that twice the size of a normal pidgeot lying on the ground with bruises and injuries covering the pokemon barely conscious. Ash and pikachu quickly realised that it was Ash's pidgeot that he released.

Ash and pikachu quickly made their way towards the pidgeot and others followed the suit. Ash bent down and tried to keep it awake while the others tried to heal the injuries with some potions and berries. Pidgeot didn't know if he should trust this people but since he couldn't do anything

When his injuries were all healed. He looked at the people who helped. His eyes went wide when his eyes landed on Ash. He jumped on Ash and tackled him down to ground. Others were shocked from this and didn't know what to do except Pikachu. (And I don't know what is the gender Ash's pidgeot in anime but in this pidgeot is male☺️)

"Pidgaw." He said.

" It's nice to see you again too pidgeot." Ash replied happily. Pikachu also jumped on pidgeot when he got off Ash.

Realising others confused gazes Ash started introducing them to pidgeot.

"Everyone this is pidgeot and pidgeot they are Goh,Serena and Chloe." Ash introduced.

"Pidgaw." Pidgeot said. Serena and Chloe waved and smiled at him while goh looked at him in interest.

"Wow, this pidgeot is twice the size of a normal pidgeot." Goh said in awe.

Ash just chuckled at what goh said.

" So Ash how do you know this pidgeot?" Chloe asked.

Ash started telling them how he caught pidgeot as a pidgeotto and trained with him and then how pidgeotto evovled into pidgeot and why he released him.

"So what happened pidgeot? Why were you injured?" Ash asked after he finished telling the story.

"Pidgaw pidg pidgaw pi pidgaw pidgaw pidg pidgaw pi." Pidgeot said.
