It was a new day, the scent of your breakfast filling your nose. Your stomach growling and you received it " you just be hungry I hope the food we prepared is to your liking miss" you nod. After you finished you handed your plate over and was given a glass of water

You retreat to your corner your chains rattling, you say there waiting for someone to escort you to the toilet, the maid came you peed, and were escorted back

You go back in your corner, a sigh leaves your mouth when you hear the click of the door

This was routine every day, breakfast, drink, bathroom, you didn't have much to do but read. No friends to speak to, no guards except for the ones guarding the outside hallways, it had its pros and cons.

You were always alone meaning you had time to think and plan to escape, but the isolation left you to be quiet and wary of new people. You crawl to the covered-up hole listening to hear any noise, you hear the birds and partying of villagers, you slide your hands against the loose brick your chains dragging against the cement, before pushing them slowly one by one. No one would visit you today till 9

Not even the triplets it was celebration day it's been 37 years your supposed father has been king, of course, you were not allowed to go as they told me, you were a secret and secrets stay hidden.

You slip your hips through and crawl out

You get up scanning the area " the guards must be drunk" you scoff, your feet touch the grass as you turn the corner of the kingdom. Though you haven't seen the outside kingdom for year's you still remembered where some things are

You run into the garden in front of you, it was around the shed, hiding in the bushes

You hold your breath as you hear a voice " truly I hate this day, brings us nothing but misfortune that king is insane" it sounded like a young man, you look up to see their eyes looking in your direction you stay still out of fear. A woman picks a flower from your area " let's get this over with, the king is looking forward for our attendance"

You hear the footsteps continue, their chatter being loud

You release a breath

You weren't even halfway out and you were almost caught, you peek your head out slightly hesitating before running into the forest. You hastily hide not wanting to risk everything " I need to find a weapon" you search for a sharp rock, you admit you were intimidated

You never went into this part on the island

You look up at the trees " I don't even know where is north" you sit for a while before finding an idea. " if I run straight won't I eventually see water and if I go right I'll eventually get to the front if I don't run into a guard dog" you get up and stretch " I better head back, if I don't they might search for me"

You look out gripping your rock, you notice a group of Princess and prince's walking hand n hand. You quickly run into the bushes and watch their moves, slipping behind them they notice you calling you and yelling guards

You run and turn the corner running to your wall

You slip through the hole and cover it up fast and crawl to your bed, listening to the outside " where are they?" you sigh and wipe your sweat. You grip your rock and close your eyes

The door opens and the sounds of heels are heard " Charlotte my dear-" the king was interrupted by a guard " sir there's an unknown woman on the grounds, last seen around here" you feel your heart skip a beat

" for Christs sake you men are useless let's go" the king turns to you " sorry my sweet princess daddy has some business to attend to, be good"

You shudder at his tone, he seemed more annoyed than the usual " put this area on extra lockdown, inform the princes". You begin to calm down after they left, you were unlikely to be caught or even recognized

After all, they only saw your hair plus they're doubtful to any get permission from anyone to see you or look around here since your lockdown you were fine, right? You lay in silence waiting to hear something about a description after an hour you fell asleep

You were awoken by the sound of doors unlocking, " is it already 9" you turn to see your "stepmother" her face was blank, her yellow dress swayed as she walks over to your cell, her blonde hair bouncing as she walks

" bath"

She unlocks your cell and has a servant take off your chains " walk"

You drag your bare feet behind the Queen, she stops when you get near a bathroom "you have 30 minutes, go" you step inside

This was odd, you were never allowed to bathe yourself it was something the king was strict about alongside the triplets. You look around

" scissors, brush's,mirrors" you were in a room full of weapons by your standards. You look up " a glass ceiling?!" This was an easy escape, especially with 30 minutes you could easily run and find a good hiding spot

But how would you survive, no skills, no food you never learned To fight or hunt, your not even sure if there's any animals to hunt here. This is an small island after all animals would strange to find nowadays if someone didn't let them free

There's also a likely chance guards will be at a all time high,

You stare at the scissors
