The boy ran out of the burning building, hair smoldering.
He turned back to watch the building collapse. He knew who was behind this. He turned around and could barely make out the shadow of them.
Summoning his strength and flew up to where he stood on a skyscraper not too far from the destruction.
"I- I'll take you on myself, you villain!" He managed to stutter out his nervousness and fear slowly taking over.The other boy's eyes glittered with a manic look. It looked so powerful but so dangerous.
He could've fallen in those eyes except the fact he spoke,"Oh darling," He said leaning forward smirking, with a look that could've knocked him out of the air, "You'd never stand a chance."
And with a puff of magic, the other boy was gone.. He knew it, that he'd see him again soon enough.The predator always comes back for their prey, circling in the shadows unknown.
