         ❝ Sometimes people are beautiful.
              Not in looks.
              Not in what they say.
Just in what they are. ❞

Kiari Crius. The name was so familiar, and for a second she almost believed it. But she couldn't. Why would he be back now? There was no way. Yet deep down in her heart, there was a sprinkle of hope. Maybe, she thought. Just maybe.

KIARI GENTLY ESCORTED Rosalie towards the exit of the building, already knowing where he was going.

"Where are we going?"

"Outside."

As they exited the building, the girl looked behind her to see her security standing by the doors where they had left.

Turning back around, she couldn't help but appreciate how beautiful the yard looked.

"Oh, it's so pretty out here!"

The boy silently nodded in agreement, standing behind her as she sat on the bench under a huge tree with white flowers resting gently on its branches.

She noticed the boy who seemed to be standing quite awkwardly, as if he didn't know what to do.

A gentle smile made its way onto her face as she patted the vacant seat next to her, motioning for him to sit.

A few moments of silence passed as Rosalie began to eat her lunch. She stole a glance at the boy next to her, contemplating what to say.

"Would you like some?" She asked, offering him some of her fruit.

He stared at her intently, mesmerized by the way her smooth skin gleamed in the sunlight before shaking his head no.

"You don't speak much, do you?"

The boy simply shrugged, averting his gaze. He felt nervous. He was never nervous.

"That's okay. Me neither."

The remainder of their time together was spent in silence, Rosalie enjoying her lunch and taking in the beautiful view of the courtyard.

Kiari on the other hand took time to enjoy an even more beautiful view of her side profile.

She could feel the intensity of his gaze, causing a blush to peek onto her golden skin.

Peeking up at him through her lashes, he sharply averted his gaze, her blush deepening.

The bell suddenly rang, indicating the end of her lunchtime.

Rosalie couldn't help but pout. She loved sitting outside, basking in the warmth of the sun and taking in the scenery around her.

She also wasn't exactly ready to leave the company of a certain mister sitting next to her.

At the sound he rose, his tall frame towering over her much smaller one.

"Enjoy the rest of your day, Rosalie." He said, placing the gentlest kiss on the back of her hand before walking away.

She watched as his muscular build disappeared into the distance, leaving her cheeks pink and stomach fluttering.

He kissed her hand!

The sweetest smile settled on her face, and for some reason, it just wouldn't go away.

Finally, it was the last class of the day. Rosalie was exhausted, who knew school could be this tiring?

From all the walking to adjusting to her new classes and environment, to her little run-in with Kiari, she was drained.

Listening to her teacher's lecture, she absentmindedly doodled in her pink notebook.

Rosalie's mind couldn't help but wander back to Kiari.

The way he looked at her had her mind spiraling, the feeling almost too familiar.

A blush appeared on the girl's face as she looked at her doodles, the most beautiful pair of eyes on the page.

A pop from her side made her jolt, a girl impeccably dressed in a pink mini skirt and white blouse snapping her gum loudly.

"Oopsies, my bad." The girl said, a small giggle escaping her glossy lips.

Rosalie simply gave her a soft smile in return. She couldn't help but notice how gorgeous the girl was.

Mustering up the courage, she whispered. "I love your outfit!"

The girl grinned, her face lighting up.

"Thanks, yours is pretty too! I'm Raemyn by the way."

"I'm Rosalie, it's nice to meet you!"

The girl smiled back, "Same here. Nice drawing by the way!"

She glanced down at her notebook, looking at the eyes that covered half of the page.

She thanked the girl, a light blush dusting her cheeks as she remembered who they belong to.

He has pretty eyes.

And those eyes were stuck on her mind for the remainder of the class.
