2- Hunter

She had no right, no right whatsoever. No one talked to Hunter William Edath like that, no one! What was this girl even thinking? All she would ever amount to would being an exact copy of what Alison was, he wished knew her name just so that he could get revenge upon her just so that he could tell everyone. She deserved whatever was coming to her.

"Well, at least I ain't no orang-utan!" he shouted back, as she started to walk away from him. Hopefully she would fuck off somewhere, he thought. Then he wouldn't have to see her again, then he wouldn't have to be associated with people like... her. Wait... wait a minute, he thought.

Going over what she'd said before Hunter realised that actually this girl was right, he did sound arrogant. He was arrogant, and selfish- I mean he couldn't even remember her name! The man who had told himself that soon he wouldn't have to be surrounded by the merciless beasts, who bullied the people who were on the lower scale of the class system, was doing the exact same! What would his parents' say, what... what would Callum say?

Callum wouldn't act like this to anyone, he wouldn't presume or judge them. Not one bit, because he knows just how bad people can be when they start to judge. He used to be bullied himself, and Hunter had seen what it does to a person. Callum really suffered from it. Maybe, maybe he'd got it wrong... maybe this girl was just being bullied by Alison and the whole thing was a big judgment that Hunter should never had made.

Before he could apologize she argued back-

"My name is ROSE! May not be important to someone like you, but I don't really care. And if you think that all of what happened was on purpose to get some attention then you must be stupid as well as arrogant, because I'm NOT my half-sister I'm not obsessed with being popular. Popularity creates twats like you," Hunter deserved the offensive remark, because she was right. He was a twat, and at least he knew her name now.

The stinging sensation from Rose's slap had begun to fade away, just like she had as she turned her back to face his body. You could tell that she was desperately trying not to cry, as her body started to shiver slightly. Hunter felt responsible for all of it, he didn't want her to cry- not one bit, and he was just an egotistical person who had deserved to feel this ashamed of himself.

Kicking the newly painted wall, which scuffed his shoes with white paint, he huffed with annoyance. Hopefully she didn't hear that. Rose is a pretty girl too. Plus, she had good music taste and then suddenly he came up with an idea that could create a new friendship...Pottering hesitantly towards her, he crouched on the other side of the mess so that she would be able to face her. Rose didn't look up to face him, and she wasn't even cleaning she was just staring at the mess with eyes about to weep a river. Hunter asked-

"You like Green day too?" Rose glanced up to face his eyes, and then slowly nodded and resumed to attempting to clear up the mess. Hunter asked, again, with a bit more confidence-

"What's your favourite song of theirs?" Rose stopped and took a moment to think, Hunter's favourite song had to be twenty-one guns as it was his first of theirs he listened to.

"Uh, t,t, twenty-o,one guns," Rose quickly said, and then again she went to face his eyes for a bit longer this time and he noticed that they were a delicate jade-colour. Hunter felt a bit more at ease now looking into her eyes for some reason.

"Same! One day I'll have to teach you the twenty-one gun dance," he ecstatically said, trying to break the ice between the two a bit more. This time she seemed to become a bit reluctant again, and went to face the floor.

"Look, I'm sorry Rose. I... never," before he could continue she interrupted saying-

"You're just apologizing because of your reputation, and because you pity me. Now, if you don't mind I'd like to just clear this paint stain up alone thank you," Hunter was quite surprised by her remark, because okay sure he felt sorry for her but he hadn't even thought about his reputation. He genuinely felt really bad for what he did.
