Ice Skating • Kylo R x Reader

"Kylo, my love," you called from the bedroom.

He walked in to the bedroom, "hmm?"

You walked over to him and caressed his cheek, "we need a break my love. Let's travel to a snowy world and make snowmen."

He pulled his head away to look out the window, folding his hands behind his back, "I am not interested in the likes of travelling. I– I don't have time to take breaks."

You walked up behind Kylo and hugged him, resting the side of your head on his back, inhaling his smell. "Just one day my love, its all I want and all you need," he moved his hands in front of him, and you took this opportunity to hold onto his hand softly, "one day off will do a lot of good Kylo."

He sighed, spinning around to hold you against his chest and rest his lips on your hair, "if it will please you (Y/N), then we can go to a snowy planet and do what you wish."

You moved your head and looked up at him with a big smile on your face. "Thank you Kylo, I have already packed our ship, so we can leave now!"

You knew he wouldn't say no to you, to so you packed in advanced.

He chuckled slightly, "I'm not surprised."

You grabbed his hand and ran off to the ship. He waved off any storm troopers who got in his way as you dragged him to the ship.

The planet your arrived on was beautiful and snowy. It was slightly cold, but the sun was shining bright.

The ship had landed in a flat area, that was surrounded by hills in the distance. There were a few trees scattered around that were covered in pure white show and in the middle of everything was a beautiful clear lake that had been frozen over; the scenery was just magic.

As you walked of the ship, you breathed in the fresh, crisp are and breathed out, watching the air flow around you.

"Kylo, isn't this wonderful." You asked, spinning around on the snow covered ground.

He hummed as he walked out of the ship. He wondered towards you and held you in his arms.

You placed your arms against his and swayed side to side.

"Thank you, Kylo." You hummed against his chest.

You split off from Kylo into a sprint down to the frozen lake. You had a pair of iceskates in hand as you rushed to the edge.

You slipped on the iceskates and skated off, twirling elegantly every now and then.

You skated back to the edge and begged Kylo to come.

You tilted your head, "please my love, would you join me?"

He shook his head but walked over to you.

You sighed but kept a smile on your face, after all, you still managed to get him out.

You went back to skating across the ice, occasionally glancing at Kylo to make sure he was watching you, and he was.

You skated and skated for what felt like hours. But as the sun started to set, you decided to skate back to your lover.

You made it half-way to him when you heard a loud crack. You looked down to see large cracks start to spread around you and you glanced up quickly and shouted, "Kyl–", before you plunged into the freezing cold water.

He tried to catch you before you dropped but he was too late. He rushed onto the ice near were you fell and looked into the water, trying to catch a glimpse of you but he couldn't see anything.

So he decided to jump into the water.

The water enveloped him in a freezing cold blanket as he swam, watching you try to swim towards him until you stopped moving, sinking ever so slowly into the black abyss.

He swam harder and harder reaching his hand out to grasp you, but he was just grasping your fingertips.

He pushed a bit harder and grabbed onto your hand, pulling you towards him as he swam back to the top.

He was cold, so cold and so, so worried about you.

He threw you over the edge of the ice, careful not to break the ice further. He used his force to glide your limp body across the ice and towards the ship before he got out of the water, rolling across the edge of the ice as to not break it and fall in again.

He tried to stand up and run towards you, but he tripped as his legs were frozen.

He got up, fighting through the aching of his legs, to race towards your still body.

Once he reached you, he picked you up and continued to run to the ship.

The ships doors opened and he ran inside, placing softly on a lounge and taking his helmet of and discarding someone on the floor, before rushing over to turn on any heaters he could. He rushed around looking for any blankets or anything to keep you warm.

With blankets in hand he came back to you, placing the many blankets on top of you.

He looked over you, your skin turning a pale blue and your lips turning purple.

He didn't like showing his feelings, even when he was alone. But what was happening to you terrified him, and he couldn't keep his tears in.

He rested his head against you forehead as more tears fell.

There was a thought at the back of his mind, something he had never tried to do before, but he was more then willing to try.

He took in a few deep breaths, and placed his hand gently on your side. He concentrated really hard, not thinking about anything else other then bringing you back.

After a few minutes he was beginning to lose hope, you weren't making any changes for the better.

But suddenly, you jolted up, coughing up water, and leaning over to vomit.

You were heaving and you felt like you were struggling to breath, but you began to calm down when you noticed Kylo was rubbing your arms up and down to warm you.

You shivered and wrapped the blanket tighter around you. Kylo gently grabbed your hand in his and began to softly blow into them.

You shivered, "wh– what happened?"

Kylo sniffed, "you fell into the water, and I thought I lost you."

You noticed tears falling from his eyes and gently reached his face, wiping away his tears, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead and gently caressing his hair.

"My love, you could never lose me."

Idk if force users could use the force in water so, he isn't using it cuz I didn't know.
