Ch 18 Field Study Part 1

Y/Ns POV

Getting out of bed I stretch my arms before heading for my training room as I see it's still early so everyone is sleeping

Y/N:Okay now let's quietly get some training in before time to head to the academy

I begin my training but as I begin I am unaware the footsteps approaching the training room

The door opens but I am unable to see who it is as I'm focused on training

Voice:Y/N? What are you doing here this early?

Looking up I see mercury standing in the training room

Y/N:Oh Hey Mercury I'm just getting some early morning training

Mercury:Do you do this every morning?

Y/N:Pretty Much I mean have to be able to protect my friends and loved ones at all costs

I say through my training session

Mercury:Well I'll join you then for the training as I want to get stronger as well

I nod and we both begin to train

Timeskip to Morning

Sitting at the table I am currently eating breakfast with everyone else

Yang:Hey Handsome?

I look towards Yang

Yang:Where was you early this morning?

Y/N:I was in the training room doing my training as usual

Yang:and you didn't invite me?

Y/N:No I didn't as to why it's because if I know from spending time with my mother is that you girls need your beauty sleep more then we guys need it

Yang:Well next time I'm joining you handsome

Gaius:Actually Yang you won't be able to join him for training for a while

Yang:Huh? Why not?

Y/N:It's because today is the day we go on a field study isn't it Gaius

Gaius nods at my words

Cinder:What's a field study?

I along with Laura and Rean explain to Cinder Emerald Neo and Mercury what the field study is all about

Emerald:So for a week we will be put into separate teams at which we will all head somewhere and do tasks for a town that needs help?

Y/N:Yes  But know this one of the teams may get into a situation

Neo:What do you mean situation?

Y/N:You'll experience it while on the field study we need to get to the academy

Everyone nods and we say our goodbyes to Shannon which we then head for the academy

Arriving at the classroom or rather the clubhouse instructor Sara tells us to head to the track for our daily combat shell test

After walking for a few minutes to the track we see instructor Sara with two combat shells

Sara:Good you made it now let's begin

Instructor Sara then calls for four of us to face the combat shells

After sometime of fighting the combat shells instructor sara hands 7 of us a envelope which I am one of the 7

Opening my envelope i find out that my team consists of myself,Laura,Machias,Weiss

Sara:each team will also have a bracer along with them for the field study
