Glee - Season 7

Episode 5 - The Last of Rachel Berry

Previously: Rachel got to play Belle, from Beauty and The Beast after Jesse got her the part, but for her to keep the job, she had to commit to a few years of nonstop work, worrying her. Jesse was also trying to convince Rachel to take the part, where she called Quinn. Rachel told Jesse that she needed time to think, and told him to sleep in the spare bedroom.

Rachel sits in her dressing room watching as a clock ticks. The big hand then hits the top of the clock, making it nine o'clock in the afternoon and Rachel takes a deep breath "finished".
As Rachel walks out of her dressing room holding her bag, she sees Harold. Harold smiles "great work today, I'll see you tomorrow at six in the morning!" Rachel then turns her head "six? We usually start at eight" Harold nods "I know, but I'm getting pushed to try and get the show ready to go as soon as possible, just means a couple of extra hours of rehearsals" Harold smiles and he walks away from her. Rachel's face drops, and she is exhausted. 
Walking out of the theatre, she tries to hold the tears back as she gets into her limo. 

Later on that night, Rachel sits on a bench near a water fountain, she pulls her phone out, seeing missed calls from Jesse. Rachel puts her phone down and she looks at the water fountain as tears run down her face. 
Sitting on the bench, Rachel then hears a familiar voice go "well hello there Miss Rachel Berry".
Rachel turns around, where she sees Quinn stood there smiling at her. Rachel jumps up from the bench smiling "oh my god!". Rachel then runs over towards Quinn and they hug. Rachel goes "thank you for coming" Quinn nods "well, I was headed here anyway, I'm currently doing some travelling, Puck and I used to do it when he got home from the army, but I do it on my own now, it's so relaxing. But, that's enough of me, you wanna talk?" Rachel nods at her "yeah" Quinn nods at her "come on then". The two of them walk towards Quinn's car. 
The two of them sit in the car together as Quinn drives. Rachel sees clothes at the back of Quinn's car. Rachel goes "you said you were travelling?" Quinn nods "yep, I love it, clears my mind, and...it completely changed me, seeing the country, different people. I went and visited Jake Puckerman the other week, he's now back dating Marley" Rachel smiles "good for him" Quinn nods "where about's am I going?" Rachel then points "take a left, and it's up on the right".
The car stops, and the two of them get out of the car. Rachel and Quinn walk together into the apartment. Quinn goes "you sure it's alright for me to stay?" Rachel smiles "of course it is!".
As Rachel walks into her apartment, Jesse runs towards her "where the hell have you been? I've been calling, I was almost-" Jesse sees Quinn walk in. Jesse then smiles "hey Quinn" Quinn then stares at him "hey...Jesse". Rachel then looks at Jesse, who almost glares towards Rachel.
Later on, Rachel and Quinn sit on the couch together drinking wine. Quinn laughs as Rachel goes "and then...he wanted me to take my bra off, and I was like...no sir, I'm not doing that" Quinn continues to laugh. Rachel smiles at her and she then takes a sip of wine, and after, she sees the time "well, I better sleep, I have to wake up early" Quinn shakes her head "you can't fall for what he wants you to do, they're going to kill you, if you agree to do this, you'll be so exhausted, it's torture, you're supposed to enjoy this career, it's going to make you hate it" Rachel stares at her.

An alarm starts beeping, and Rachel wakes up, she looks at her phone and the time shows up at '4:45 AM'. Rachel then sighs as she gets out of bed, and she sees Quinn sleeping on the other side of her bed. Rachel smiles as she then walks towards a door, leading into the bathroom. 
Later on, Rachel then puts her coat on and Quinn walks up to her "you sure you wanna go and do this?" Rachel goes "I don't know, I don't want to become that person I was before" Quinn goes "you never will, even if you did, you would bounce back, you did before, you can again, just stay here, and tell them to go to hell" Rachel stares at her "I just can't do it Quinn" Quinn sighs.
Rachel turns around and she walks out of the apartment, and she steps outside, where it's raining. Rachel looks at the sky, which is dark, and she watches as the rain falls onto her.
