Wattson POV:

I have been noticing some behaviour changes in Renee lately. She just seems a lot more secretive than usual. Whenever I bring it up she denies it and says zat she's always been zat way but I'm sure zat's not true!

Like, ze other day, she was wrapping a gift for Mirage's birthday (I must admit, I didn't know it was zat close by) but when I went over to see what it was, she quickly shoved it under the table.

Knowing her, it was probably something zat she wanted to keep just between them. Maybe a box of chocolates or a love letter?

I've heard from the other legends zat those two have a thing for eachother so I guess it would make sense.

And of course, as Wraith's best friend, I am completely supportive of her feelings for him! So.. why is my stomach churning? And... why do I suddenly feel like crying??

Maybe feelings aren't as straight forward as I first thought...

Wraith POV:

I've never had a best friend before. Well, not one I can remember of. Wattson and I are definitely very close so of course I noticed when something is bothering her.

She's just been so... fragile recently. And I can't help but feel like it's my fault for not doing anything to help.

I mean, I've TRIED talking to her about it but she just acts like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I don't personally think I'm too good with handling my own emotions, let alone somebody else's so I kinda just left it at that.

But the more I left it, the worse she seemed to get.

Sometimes, she would just burst out into tears when someone like Mirage would come into a room.

Hey-wait a minute... now that I think about it, Wattson seems like she suddenly has some resentment for him...

Oh no, that idiot must have started talking without supervision and said something that hurt Wattson! UGH! I swear to hell, if I find out that he is that cause of all of this, he's a dead man.

No POV:

"What did you do you idiot!" Wraith demanded, knocking Mirage's sandwich out of his hands.

"Hey! My lunch!"

"Screw your lunch! What did you say to Natalie??"

"What are you talking about?? I-I haven't said anything to her! I swear! We barely even talk!" Mirage said nervously.

"Really? Then can you explain why she suddenly seems so upset whenever you want into the room?!"

"Honestly, I haven't noticed anything. Besides, isn't she always this fragile?"

Mirage went to pick up his lunch and Wraith pulled out her Kunai. She held it against his neck, forcing him to stay in place.

"If I were you, I would stop talking whilst you can." She threatened.

"Look, I don't really know what you want me to do about this!" He said

"I want you to find Natalie and apologise for whatever stupid thing you said around her. You got that?"

"Y-yes Renee."

"Don't call me that. Not until you've fixed this mess."

"A-alright I'll go do that now then." Mirage laughed nervously. He slipped under Wraith's arms and ran out the door.
