Ch. 13- Am I Special?

You hear Dan softly snoring still holding you by your waist. The Binaural Beat you put on had ended but a similar one started sometime in the night adding the soft sound of water flowing. That's why your cord felt like a slow stream. You reach out for it and turn it off. There's no need for it now. You try to get out of Dan's impossibly warm grip without waking him up. By some way you make it up without waking him only evoking a few snorts and shifts. You check the time. 11:23. "Shit." You mummer. You text Lauren who sent you just about 500 messages while you slept. Most of them angrily asking where you were. You text her back saying that you went home with someone and fell asleep before they could drive you home. You know that Lauren wouldn't call the cops on you so you don't worry. In a minute she texts you back.
"Ok but plz txt me when you leave I was worried bout u ❤."
"K"
You sigh debating if you should go out in the other room or not. You decide to go ahead and slip out. Walking down the hall you hear a sleepy voice behind you. "Hi there (Y/N). Did you sleep ok with Dan? He didn't keep you up I hope." It's Suzy. She walks up behind you and gives you a small hug.
"No. I was to tired to care anyway. Thanks for asking." You reply awkwardly giving her a hug back. "Do you mind if I make myself some breakfast?"
"How about I make lunch because we ran out of milk?" She suggests. You shrug and sit down in a chair in the living room. You see Ross's still figure on the couch and pray that he doesn't remember his dream from last night. "Will you wake up Dan and Ross? I can wake up Arin." Suzy says when she catches you staring at Ross.
"No problem." You say and standing up waking to Ross. Grabbing him by the shoulders you shake Ross. "Hey wake up Ross. We're gunna eat then someone has to take me home."
"All I heard was eat." He says sleepily rubbing his eyes. When he's done he looks at you in surprise. "I forgot your still here." He says.
"It's ok. I'm going to wake up Dan." You say walking away. You go back down the hallway stoping at the door. You slowly open it and walk inside. Seeing dans peaceful sleep makes you remember how you got here. You touch your lips with one hand remembering the feeling of Dan's lips against yours.
Overcome by the soft breathing you lean down and kiss his cheek. The. You remember why you came in. You decide to pick him up and plop him onto the couch so you slowly stick your hands under him and carry him down the hallway. Suzy see's you and chuckles. You drop Dan on the couch with a hard thud and he is instantly awake. "What what that for!" He says rubbing his back.
Ross and Suzy laughing with you you ask "Did I hurt you?" You don't want to hurt him just make a joke.
"Nah I'm like a rock." He says flexing his muscles.
The noise of your combined laughter makes Arin stumble out of his bedroom. "Good morning." He says kissing Suzy.
"Morning." You say making Arin jump a bit.
"Oh I'm so sorry we forgot to take you home last night! I can take you now if you want." He says.
"At least let her eat first." Suzy says before you can agree with Arin. How do you keep getting roped into staying here?
Suzy puts a bowl of hot soup into your hands and you blow on it hesitantly before taking a sip. Probably the best soup you've had in a while. "Oh my God Suzy! This is amazing!" You exclaim while the guys are still blowing on the steamy bowls. Everyone turns to you. "That's the third time all of you have stared at me. What is it?" You asked annoyed. "And hey where's Barry?"
"Barry was probably editing the whole night, the poor guy. And the only reason we stare at you is because you did something crazy or awesome. The bowl you have JUST came off the stove and its still hotter than ours. Isn't your tongue burning? You sung in front of us and can finish a bowl of cereal before most of us are halfway done." Arin says matter-of-factly.
"Why is that so weird?" You say still annoyed.
"You soup is practically boiling." Barry says from behind you. You flinch and almost spill your soup all over yourself. Good thing you have awesome reflexes.
Barry sits down next to you and starts blowing on his own bowl. Now that you think about it your soup is kinda hot. But not as hot as Barry and Arin say. You put the bowl up to your mouth and sip the broth, warming up your insides. You finish in no time and start washing your bowl in the sink before Suzy stops you.
"You don't have to do the dishes." She says kindly. You shrug and go sit back down.
