The three children giggled and played together. Two boys- one with dirty blonde locks and the other with candy pink hair. A young girl, a brunette.
They played together under the summer sun, pretending to fight with pointed sticks.
Little did they know, they'd one day drift apart and go their own ways in the world, some becoming enemies and some showing kindness. But for now, they were content to enjoy the friendship they thought would last forever.
"I win!" The girl gleefully shouts, pointing her stick at the blonde's neck.
"No you don't!" Laughed the pinkette- it'd be rare when he laughed as he grew older. He shoved the girl over, making her fall over onto the other boy.
They laughed, and scrambled up to "fight" some more. For now, they were like siblings, inseparable and devoted.
But what happens when people grow up?
