"taeyong oppa?" scarlett tapped the leader. the female woke up in the middle of the night because of the thunderstorm.
the male groaned and turned to her. "scar? what's wrong?" he sat up and pulled the member to his side.
she sighed, "i'm scared. can– can i sleep here tonight if that's okay." he slightly smiled and nodded, "of course, scar."

scarlett was nowhere to be seen and taeyong was getting worried. they were currently backstage of an award show.
"have you seen scarlett?" he asked the 00' liners, who shook their heads 'no'. he thanked them and left.
as he was about to call their manager, he saw a very familiar silhouette. he grabbed her hand and hugged her.
"oppa?" she pulled away. "where were you?" he asked her, determined to know. "oh, i was just looking for something to eat but i got distracted by kitten that got inside the building somehow."
he sighed and chuckled. 'basic scarlett.'

"happy birthday, lee taeyong. happy birthday, happy birthday. happy birthday, lee taeyong." she whisper sang.
"scar, darling, it's 12 AM." he said, waking up from his sleep. she sheepishly smiled, "well, i wanted to be the first (1st) one to greet you on your special day.
the leader smiled, thankful. "thank you, scar. but you have to go to sleep." he took the box she handed him and opened it.
it was a box full of his favourite snacks and three bracelets, that were quite expensive. the male smiled and planned to thank her properly later.

nct was filming a behind the scenes for 'resonance'. johnny and ten brought the camera to where taeyong was.
"here we have the leader, on his phone." they both laughed quite loudly. taeyong looked up to the camera and placed a finger on his lips.
"scarlett is sleeping so please tone it down." he said as the duo nodded, understanding. the leader smiled and waved goodbye to the camera.
"like always, our taeyongie is tending our scarlett." the duo talked about that for a couple seconds before filming the others.
