Disclaimer: Credit to J.K. Rowling for creating this wonderful universe. Elise Roberts is mine, and other original characters are mine (I will mention them later, you'll catch on. There's like ten of them or so).

a/n: the beginning is cringy and I want to change it but I'm also lazy... it gets better. I promise.

Growing up, I was always told to avoid the forest at night. For years I obliged to the request asked by my guardians, but I couldn't help but find myself attracted to it. The mysterious force of the trees that compelled me to explore it and its everlasting mystery of those who inhabited such a place.

Soon, with enough patience I found it was I who inhabited it. Making my way through the forest every night at the ripe old age of nine, dwelling as one of its many creatures.  I'd made many friends in the forest, although many hesitant to approach me, for what I still to this day assume is because even as a mountain lion, I smell of human blood.

Eventually as life carried on, I learned to embrace the goods and bads presented by Mother Nature. Especially when I received my letter which invited me to attend Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My eleven year old self was ecstatic to find out such information. So, I waited until September first descended upon us so I could make my way to Ilvermorny.

My guardians also revealed to me their dislike of the forest comes from the tale of my parents; two pureblooded sorcerers who died after being ambushed during one of their many voyages to assist those in need of help.

Two months later I had arrived at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and never in my life had I been so in love. The colonial building has now come to be my bread and butter. My home, as most would prefer I say. They had this most significant garden and a very neat quidditch pitch for us to play on.

We got sorted into our houses first. I got to stand on the Gordian Knot in the floor and the most incredible thing happened! All four of the statues had reacted to me. I was swarming with nerves when I first stepped up, but I didn't show it. Then, when the Horned Serpent's gem glowed, the Thunderbird batted its wings, the Wampus roared, and the Pukwudgie raised its arrow into the air, I knew everything would go well. (a/n: I actually took the quiz as her and I got 24%, 24%, 24%, and 29%, lol). In the end, I decided with Pukwudgie. The little creatures were hilarious and adorable and I couldn't help but pick them.

Then I received my wand in the large hall, as was traditional for American students. I was lucky enough to be matched with a wand created by Thiago Quintana himself. I don't know who he is but everyone was super jealous of me! My wand is made of spruce wood and has a single spine from the White River Monster.

I had no clue where the rest of my life as a witch would lead me, but I was plenty excited to find out.
