Her Leading Roommate

The Question

   I walked inside the house to find a very worried looking Alex and the place a mess. "What happened" I say shocked. Alex looked up automatically and when we made eye contact you could see the relief wash down his face. I walked over to him and hugged him.

   "Alex what happened" I ask needing to know what was wrong. "I thought you left.. for good Katie told me you left to see some old friends and I took it like that then I started to overthink it and oh my gosh, I started to get agitated and they tried to calm me down but I didn't and I trashed the place" he says sounding stressed.

  "Alex I'm not going to leave you again I'm going to fight okay don't ever think I'm going to leave you okay so please don't hurt yourself from your mind okay look I had my phone on me all night why didn't you call me o would've come home baby." I say to him getting emotional again. "I didn't even think he'll I wasn't thinking for goodness sakes" he says shaking his head from his actions.

   He held me in his arms and I held him in my arms. We heard a door creak open and saw everyone come out of the pantry. "What we're y'all doing on the pantry" I ask. "It's our safe spot for when he gets mad and does this" Jackson says and I look at Alex.

  "Alex this has got to stop baby" I say to him his ear. "I know and I try but it started happening when you were away and I couldn't keep my anger at bay and lashed out a lot. You keep me calm Ella you have that much power over me. When I don't know where your at the anger builds then releases and they happen to be around me at the time" he say putting his head down on shame.

  "I love you Alex and I won't leave again" I say to him. "I love you too Ella and you won't ever know how much but I do and you won't leave again because I'm not ever going to put you in the position again okay" he says and I nod smiling.

   We all settle down and lay back to watch a movie while the girls and I make some popcorn and stuff  when I felt something kick my stomach. I look down in shock. "It just kicked me" I say aloud without knowing. The girls look and squeal. "Omg no way" Emma says and I nod saying it was true. 

   Alex and the boys came running in looking confused. "What's wrong y'all were squealing or screaming" Jackson said with a superhero mask on and we laughed while Alex just rolled his eyes. I look at Alex and we make eye contact.

  "I felt the baby kick" I say to him and his eyes start to water. I walk over to him and he puts his head in the crook of my neck. "Why are you crying" I ask giggling. "This, you make me happy the baby makes me happy, us makes me happy.' he says looking at me. I look at him and see the sincerity in his eyes and I softly kiss his lips. "Would you too please stop being lovebirds so we can watch the movie please" Emma says and we laugh.

We all walk into the living room and put on The Boondock Saints. We finished eating and the boys all fell asleep and we giggle. "Alright time for Disney" Rachel says and I shrug since the movie didn't bug me that much but I nodded. "Oh My Gosh they made a knew Kissing Booth movie" Katie says and we both eagerly nod our heads yes and that's what we watched for the next two hours or so.

We then talked and stuff when their was a knock on the door. We all looked at each other wearily since it was around ten o' clock at night. I shook Alex to wake up from his nap. He looked up confused to why I woke him when the knock on the door continued. He got up slowly and walked to the door looking through the peep hole. He slowly opened it.

"Why the hell are you here" he says gritting his teeth. "I just wanted to talk to my little sister" someone says and I know exactly who it is. I get up from my spot on the couch and go to the door putting on a hoodie so he doesn't get any him pregnant.

" LEAVE You are not welcomed here and I want nothing to do with you so get out of our FUCKING FACES!!!" I yell at him even more pissed off with the hormones. He looks at me and shakes his head in disbelief.

"Looks like little one here is finally standing up for herself after years of abuse hospital fees and bullies who called her nothing but you know what sissy, you are nothing but a waste of space" he says and Alex lost it.

I mean Alex went full on gorilla on him and I didn't care my brother was right I was truly nothing. After Alex beating the shit out of my brother for two minutes I was able to pull him off of my brother who looked like complete crap.

Alex grabbed me and hugged me. "Don't you listen or believe this words Ella he is wrong I am telling you this because you mean a lot to the people in this room right now" Alex says to me and I nod
