I stared at him how could he save me when nate tore my throat open? Is he like a professional doctor? no hes to young to be a proffesional he might be studying it but he cant be that good

''destiny you need to choose now your running out of time" he said he looked into my eyes i nodded he smiled

''ok this might-" he was thrown through a window

''JACE" i screamed nate stood over me the knife still in his chest shouldnt he be dead? He pulled it out

''that fucking hurt" he said he knelt down and bit me i tried to scream but my voice couldnt get past my throat he pulled away i felt really cold

''your blood tastes magnifecent" he had a huge grin on his face that was the last thing i saw

''DONT YOU DARE DO THAT NATE" he sounded far away.

I awoke in the same room

''destiny?" i looked to my right jace was sitting up against the wall covered in blood the floor was soaked in it ''are you alright?" i slowly nodded he looked like he was in pain i stood up and went to him

''are you ok?" he looked at me with a small smile

''as long as your ok im great" he fell over and was still

''jace?...........jace are you sure your ok?.......JACE" he didnt look at me or say anything the door swung open and an older man came in

''excuse me miss but i must take him for awhile" i moved to where i was shielding him with my body ''if you want him to live i must take him" he said that made me move the guy scooped him up like he was a feather ''thank you" he said and left i didnt know what to do so i just sat there starring at the door waiting for jace to walk and say HA gotcha but no he didnt i looked at the clock it was 4:30 i didnt know what day it was. The door opened and the older man appeared i quickly stood

''how is he?" he handed me a cup

''he will live i made it just in time"

''what did you have to do?"

''oh look at the time i must go prepare dinner" he said then walked out. I looked at the cup whatever it was smelled good i took a small sip YUCK! but i couldnt stop drinking it. I finished the drink and set it on the dresser the window was blocked off by metal who does that? I thought

''hey" i turned and there he was still covered in blood

''what happened?" he smiled then lost it

''I uh" he ran his hand through his hair

''wheres nate?" he looked at me with anger then pointed to another door i looked at it slowly walked to it i looked at jace he was sitting on the bed his head in his hands like he just realized what he did but what did he do? I opened the door and peeked in more blood and a body.....nates unmoving body torn into pieces i quickly shut the door and looked at jace he didnt look up at me.

I walked up to him and knelt down infront of him ''why did you do it?" i asked he didnt answer i removed his hands from his face he looked angry and sad

''tell me why" i whispered he looked at me then at the door he looked angry everytime he looked at the door he looked back at me

''he killed you" he said i stared

''he.........k-k-killed me?" he nodded ''but how am i here then or am i dreaming?" i touched his arm nope its real

''he um he turned you" he stared at the floor between us

''he turned me?" he nodded ''into what?"

''a vampire" he didnt look up at me till i busted out laughing

''they dont exist" i said

''you know that drink" he looked at the dresser

''yeah" it was blood thats why it tasted nasty but yet your body needs it so you cant stop drinking it" he said

''and now your stuck with nate for the rest of eternity" he said

''but he is dead isnt he?" he shook his head

''no he is only torn into pieces but not fully torn he can come back and claim you" i sat on the bed and this time im the one putting my head in my hands

''im sorry" he said i looked up at him

''do i have to go with him?" he nodded

''hes your creator all newborns must stay with their creators"

''wheres yours?"

''dead'

''im sorry"

''i killed her"

''what? why?"

''she didnt like my family she only dealt with them cause of me but she grew tired of it and slaughtered them infront of me" i didnt know what to say im sorry wouldnt help it wouldnt bring them back ''the next night of there death i took her to a hotel and killed her"

''couldnt you change them into vampire?"

''no i didnt have enough blood in me to do it the only other vampire in the family is magnus he's been with me for centuries" he said i could see the sadness and hurt and anger in his eyes

''cant i stay with you?"

''if your creator will let you go but nate will not"

''why"

''my creator was his lover so hes getting revenge on me by taking you he knows i have feelings for you" he looked at the ceiling ''he would mostly likely come and kill me well atleast try to kill me"

''oh" he looked at me with a smile

''lets go for a walk" he stood up and looked down at himself ''after i change" he walked into the bathroom i starred at the door where nate my creator was lying somewhat dead

''lets go" i followed him downstairs and out the door

''how bout we run" he asked

''i cant"

''why?"

''i have heallth problems"

''i know that but now you dont" he said with a smile ''just run and see for yourself" i ran and he followed so far so good ''now go faster" i did everything was not a blur but i was going fast just like nate and jace did ''how do you feel?' he asked

I smiled ''great" we ran for i dont know how long we sat by a small river

''iv never ran ever since i found out about my problems" i said bringing my knees up to my chest and resting my chin on them

''what caused them?" he asked

''i dont know mom says its my dads fault and my brother keeps me and desirea away from him"

he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close to him ''im sorry you had to live like that" he whispered i looked at him and our noses almost touched

''its ok" i said we didnt pull away from each other we just sat there.
