the shot went off

''NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO" i screamed as jace fell to the ground i went to him

''get out of here" he said wincing in pain i shook my head and wrapped his arn around me

''leave me here"

''fat chance" i said i looked behind me there was one guy there aiming his gun at us we made eye contact and starred at each other for awhile

''you will not get away"

''HA! watch me" i ran as he was about to pull the trigger i weaved through the trees ''which way?" i asked him

''just straight ahead" he said he went limp after a few seconds. i was coming up the porch stairs when magnus appeared at the top

''ill take him" i let go of him when magnus had him

''they know where we are so what do we do?" i asked

''we move" he said ''please wait out here" i nodded i sat in the living room and turned on the tv flipped through the channels nothing good on i stuck with the news there was a picture of me and desirea

''two middle school girls have gone missing. the one on the right" which was me ''has been missing for awhile the one on the left just went missing yesturday if you have any information please contact us" i turned off the tv grabbed my cell phone and called desirea straight to voice mail i wanted to call mom but she probably wouldnt want to talk to me and i really didnt want to talk to her. With nothing else to do i go to the room its nine thirty at night i go take a shower change into my pj's and crawl into bed.

I awoke to the door opening magnus was bringing jace in ''is he going to be alright?" he put him on the bed next to me

''im not so sure the bullet did pierce his heart just a little though i did get it out so we just have to wait and see" he walked out and shut the door i looked at jace his chest was all bandaged up. I touched his face he didnt move i wanted to wake him up just to know that he was ok but i know that he needs the rest so i just laid back down. I woke up to the shutters closing jace was still next to me sleeping. Islowly got up being careful not to wake him, got dressed and walked downstairs breakfast was already made as always magnus was the best butler ever i ate breakfast went back up stairs and sat next to the bed waiting for him to wake up

''we must get started" i looked up magnus starred down at me

''on what?"

''packing we dont want the hunters to finish us" he said ''the bags are in the closet" he then walked out i went to the closet and started packing

''are you done?"

''yeah" i put everything in the car and magnus grabbed jace he put him in the back seat

''is there anything you want from your house?" i shook my head he nodded and we took off
