Just Got Stranger (Stranger Things/Billy Hargrove)

Chapter One

*Emma's P.O.V*

"You know I think I seen Jonathan checking you out today in class" Nancy laughed nudging me as we walked outside

"Will's  brother? No way I can only ever see him as his brother" When we got outside we headed towards Harrigntons car when I looked over Billy was leaning against his prized Camaro all the girls watching him

"What is your damage with him?" Asked Steve popping up behind us snapping me out of my trance, Nancy was looking at me to with a curious look

"I don't know what's your damage with him?" I mocked his tone looking at him

Just then the boys went biking by with Max skating next to them, Dustin stopped causing the rest of them to come to a hault Dustin looked back at us.

*Dustin is Emma's younger brother*

"Is mom home tonight?" Dustin yelled out I shrugged my shoulders knowing mom she was probably working

"Pizza?" He asked giving me a sheepish grin I nodded giving him a thumbs up

"Hey is it ok if I come over tonight if it gets bad again?" Asked Max skating over to me

"Always you know Billy is welcome to" I said with a smile she just gave me a look we both knew Billy wouldn't take the offer he never did

"MAX GET YOUR ASS IN THE CAR!!" Billy yelled putting out his smoke god he could be such an ass

When I looked over after Max reached the car Nancy and Steve were at his car jogging over to them I slipped in the back seat.

"God he's such an ass" Nancy said as if she had read my mind

The house next to mine had been vacant and quiet for a few years until Max's familly moved in last summer and that's when the loud music, fighting, yelling and breaking glass started. Even though they tried to deny it mom, Dustin and I knew it was Billy's dad who was the reason for it all. He is nothing but an asshole and bully who doesn't deserve a family, the only thing we could do was offer shelter to them.

When I got home there was a message on the answering machine from mom reminding us she was working a double, it feels like she's never home anymore. But withought dads income she has to work overtime just to try and make ends meet and she won't let me work to help out. Ordering the pizza I promised Dustin before I went and got changed right when I cam back downstairs Dustin was just coming in the door, I could hear the yelling starting already.

Dustin was up in his room playing some video game or something while I was down in the living room watching Amitiville Horror when the door bell rang startling me. Getting up I opened the door to come face to face with a soaking wet Max, the rain was coming down behind her.

"Hey come in" I said moving out of the way

"Thanks" She was shivering from the rain

"Dustin's up in his room go grab a hot shower I think you still have stuff here and there's pizza on the counter if you haven't eaten" I said she smiled at me before heading up the stairs

"It was really really bad this time" She said looking back at me all I could do was give her a sympathetic smile

"You can stay as long as you need" She gave me a weak smile lately I've been feeling more of a parent then a teenager

"Thanks Emma for....everything" She said before turning around and heading up

Just before I could sit back down there was another knock on the door what the hell when I opened it up this time Billy stood there soaking wet with his head down.
