Autumn's pov
Remember when Cameron said "your gonna get sick", yeah I did and it was worth it. I told Cameron and Cooper what happened with Bryce yesterday and they are pretty angry but I told them that Brad was there and it was all ok, and they still think I won't be safe but I will
But right now I'm worried about being sick on a work day, who's gonna work over at my shop I thought
"hey Autumn...feeling better?" tristan says coming in with the other boys on my room
"I've been better" I groaned
"well you look pretty" James says
I coughed loudly and sneezed into a napkin "you think I'm still pretty from doing that?" I said
"yes?" James says questioning what he said earlier
"ok boys let's go I need to talk to her for a second" holland says shooting the boys out
She closes the door "ok I think we got your job covered"
"ok great, who's working?"
"me and the others.....and before you say anything like 'what happened last' we know we made that decision but this the only way to get your shop going"
I sighed "fine I let it happen but you gotta do great ok?"
"yes!" she paused opening the door "Brad's gonna take care of you while we're gone" she says
My eyes widen "what?!Holland are you insane he can't see me like this I look horrible" I said I would've shout it but my throat hurts
"oh please you look great, just calm down and we'll be back" she says walking out and letting Brad in
"hey"
"h-" I got cut off by me sneezing, I groan in frustration "that's disgusting" I said looking at the snot on the napkin, I threw it on the bin that is on the side of my bed
"this what you get for being stubborn" he says walking towards me
I put my hands up "no!, I don't want you to get sick" I said stopping him
He laughs still walking towards me and sitting on the foot of my bed "don't worry love, you sick is not making me go and I'm not leaving you" he said very sweetly
"that's nice of you, but since your taking care of me can you get me ice cream?" I ask
"You can't have ice cream your sick remember" he said standing up front his old spot and sitting on the side of the bed next to me "your getting really hot" he says feeling my forehead
"why thank you" I joked
"I don't mean it like that, I meant your temperature is getting worse....wait there I'm gonna get something" he says
"where are you going?!" I shout but I just coughed
He came back after a few minutes and he came in with soup "here eat this" he said
"wow you cooked?"
" your dad taught me over the phone so can't take all the credit but thank you for thinking that" he says blowing on the spoon to feed me
"I'm not a child, I can eat with no help" I said
"yes but you are sick and Holland said she would kill me if you let your self in this kind of situation" he said putting the spoon in front of my mouth
I ate it and it was not bad "ok you did a great job taking orders from my dad"
He chuckled "thank you, your dad is great teacher and I took a taste earlier and it was delicious" he says doing a chef kiss
"yeah my mom used to cook that to us when me and my brothers would get sick, she always liked taking care of us. My mom used to sing can't help falling in love with you to me when I'm sick." I paused choking on my tears "She always said 'your gonna make someone head over heels for you, your gonna be loved like your father loved me. Even when you fight they would still love you' I believed that statement since then but now I don't know if I still believe that-but I'm going on with my life"i said letting one tear fall
"You really miss her huh?"
I nodded "everyday" I said
"well I think your doing great on your life right now"
"you mean me being here sick and single really? You think I'm doing great with my life"
"I think your doing great because you met me"
I smiled "oh yeah, I guess that's great too" I said and caused him to punched me playfully "hey I'm sick"
"sorry but you deserve it" he says
After that conversation we watched a movie in my room and it's 8 pm now they are still not home "you think they're out having fun?" I ask pausing the movie and facing him
"yep, but I'm having the best time right now" he says putting an arm around me and pulling me close
I blushed at the gesture "you know you'll get sick when your close to me" I said
"well it's worth it because I'm next to you"
"your cringey and I don't like it" I said
"well you like it" he says smiling
