Autumn's pov
"bye have a nice date or something" I said to dad and malia
"did they leave yet?" Cameron says coming in
"yes finally!, I had push them out of the door" I said
Cameron and Holland broke up yesterday after he visited her at her apartment, Cameron is pretty torn about it but I know my brother his gonna get through it. As for Holland she's been at her apartment staying there and crying about it, me and hazel always come by as we can and cheer her up. They agreed to be friends though but you know they just broke up so it's some adjustment.
"is Cooper home yet?" I ask
"no his still on a date with hazel, why?"
"nothing" I paused grabbing keys and wallet "I gotta go to work, don't do anything stupid when I'm not home ok?" I said
"ok just go already" he says
I got out of the house and walked to the bakery, I arrived after a 15 minute walk and as I did I opened up shop
I was cleaning the counter when someone came in "hi what can I get you?" I smile sweetly but that smile quickly went away "oh Camila.....and Brad" I said strained
"hey we just want to say hi before we go on a date" Brad says pointing at them on the date part of the statement
"great umm do you need something from the shop?" I ask
"yes actually can I get a brownie please" Brad says
"I thought you liked my cupcakes?"
"I do but Camila says I have to try the brownie" he says and Camila just smiles wickedly at me
"okay" I said getting 3 brownies and putting it in a bag and giving it to Brad "here you go, that'll be free because it's your first time trying that" I said
"thanks Autumn" he paused "oh can I go to the bathroom first is that ok?" he asks
"yes, you know where it is" I said
He went and then Camila pulled my arm to face her "look at me Autumn, I know you have a crush on him but you will never have him ever" she says
"don't worry I don't, so knock yourself out" i said
Brad came out of the bathroom "ok let's go Camila, bye Autumn" he says
After they left I saw Camila smirked at me. They left and I let out a frustrated sigh and a loud groan
I closed up pretty early because it was raining. I put the excess containers on a shelf, as I do that someone knocked on the door I walk to the door and saw Brad outside, I sigh and opened it and let him in "what are you doing here, I thought your on a date with Camila" I said emphasizing the Camila
"it didn't end well so I thought I will help you at the shop but your already closing up" he says scratching the back of his neck
"yeah it was raining and I was tried so I thought I need sleep"
"you want a ride?"
"um ok, after I close up" I said
"ok I'll help" he says
I nod and this kinda reminds me of the first time we talked and he changed his clothes here, it was kinda weird "you ok?" he asks
"yeah I'm ok, I was just thinking about something" I said
"oh you mean the day we learned our names and you checked me out for the first time, I can't forget about that" he says
"yeah me too" I said smiling
