Welcome to my subpar book of headcanons.
I'm going to do a lot of research on the countries I will publish chapters for. I will take ages to update this, considering the amount of research I typically have to do + my personal life and motivation. Any blanks scattered around a chapter signify an info gap, which I'm going to fill once I finally redo each chapter.
***I AM REWRITING MOST CHAPTERS IN THIS BOOK. ANYTHING WITH "NEEDS UPDATING" IN THE TITLE IS AT LEAST PARTIALLY OUTDATED; TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.***
I sort chapters alphabetically, sorry if this makes my publishing order really confusing.
Because I would practically die if I were to list out trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter, have fair warning here: the backstories of almost all countries involve dark content, particularly many varieties of violence. Child abuse, murder, etc. If you can't handle it, then skip over the backstory section entirely. When all characters are finally given some sort of character art, some may have lots of scars that may be triggering, please also keep this in mind.
At some point, I will be publishing other headcanons books that aren't this one or my statehumans one- for historical countries, territories, micronations, etc. It likely isn't coming soon. So take note, you cannot ask me to do a country that no longer exists in this book, or a territory.
If I get anything wrong with a country's history or culture, let me know. Also, I don't tend to keep things 100% current- I'm not going to talk about recent developments like the war in Ukraine.
