Recently, I've been working a lot and have been working really hard.

Between occasionally helping my boyfriend with his work, doing my own work, and then coming home and also cleaning up and taking care of things so that my boyfriend doesn't have to worry about it, I've got a lot on my plate, with not always a lot of free time.

That being said, I wouldn't change anything.

My boyfriend, Clay, works really hard, and makes enough money to where I wouldn't even have to work if I truly didn't want to.

Of course, I'm a boss ass independent woman who don't need no man, so I do work.

Clays always super appreciative of me, and what I do, so it's nice to know I'm not going under loved.

Today, I'm tired and really just want a break, so I decided I'd stay in bed and chill out until I find something else to do with my free time.

"Babe?" I hear

"I'm in here" I say, sitting up in bed and looking at the door, away from my phone.

Clay walks in, looking at me

"Whatcha doing?" He asks

"Not much, just taking a chill day. The house and everything is all clean so don't worry about it, I just don't have to work today so I thought I'd relax a bit." I say

"Thank you babe. You don't have to clean all the time. You know I really appreciate everything you do for me, right?" He says, still looking at me while leaning against the door frame.

"Of course, you deserve it." I smile to him

"What's your plan?" He asks me

"Probably just gonna lay in bed for a while, not sure what else to do" I say

"Here-" he says, and pulls out his wallet, pulling out cash, while I give him a confused look

"Go shopping, get some stuff you've been wanting just some little things you like. on me." He smiles, holding money out to me.

"What? Babe, no" I say

"Why not?" He asks

"I feel bad. How much money even is that?!" I ask, looking at him

"I don't know, I think $400" he says

"FOUR HUNDRED??" I ask

"Are you crazy?? I can't take all that from you just to go shopping! I can buy myself stuff it's okay." I say

He walks up to me and sits on the bed next to me, opening my hand, placing the cash in it, and closing it.

"Take it. You do a lot for me. Least I can do is treat you to some stuff you want for once instead of you always working" he says

"Are you sure?" I ask

"I'm positive babe. GO!! Go!! Get up and go!!" He says, pushing me up and tapping my back with his hands

I sigh and grab my keys and my shoes, then walking up to him and giving him a kiss

"Thank you baby." I say and turn around going out the door

"AND YOU BETTER KEEP THE CHANGE" he yells at me while I'm down the hall

"YOURE CRAZY!" I reply

I go to the mall, buying some clothes, and a few other little accessories, including some shirts, a pair of jeans, some flare pants, a bucket hat, and some other things as well.
