Spooky month stuff

Dad

(Skid's POV)

I got up from my bed, then I realized it is the spooky month! I wore my costume and told my mom it's the spooky month! I went outside and called my best friend Pump.

"Aye!!"
"Aye!!"
"It is the spooky month!"

Pump then randomly jumped all the way to my house. I don't know how he does it, but it makes him cool!

"Let's go to an abandoned mansion!" I suggested.
"Sure!" Pump agreed to me.

Then the stranger in a white van went to us.

"Hey kids, where you two going?" He asks us.
"We're going to an abandoned mansion!" I tell him.
"Oh I know one abandoned mansion, hop in!" He tells us as he opens the door to his van. Me and Pump hopped on the van.

On the van there were 4 sacks, but I don't know what's inside of those.

"Hey stranger, what's inside of those sacks?" I ask him.
"O-oh, they're.. food for my family!" He tells us.
"Oh ok!"

A few minutes passed and we were on an abandoned mansion. Me and Pump said goodbye to the stranger and thanked him. He leaves, and Pump had glowing eyes.

(Pump's POV)

Something is inside of that mansion. I feel like it's dangerous for me and Skid to go in it. But, some part of me feels like the place is safe.

"Skid, we should be careful in here." I tell Skid.
"Oh ok! Let's go in then!"

Me and Skid opened the door..

We went inside.

The mansion had 2 stairs leading to the same floor. 2 doors to the left and 2 doors on the right. There were paintings of fruits, flowers, and people.
The doors closed. I quickly try to open the door, but it won't open. I guess we're going to have to explore to find a way out.

"Skid we need to find a way out." I tell Skid. He nodded. "You go to those doors to the right while I go to the left." I nodded in response.

The first door was a dining table with some drawers. I opened the drawers but there's only spoons and forks.
The second door was just connected to the dining table room.

I then waited for Skid.
He went to me and told me he didn't saw anything.
We went to the 2nd floor. There were 6 doors now.

"Skid, I think we should stick together." I suggest to Skid.
"Ohhh why? We'll be fine! We haven't seen anyone here yet!"
"Yeah, because they're probably in here!"
"Fineee"

We then checked the first door.

Right after checking, I hear a door open.

"Skid?"
"Yeah?"
"I think the door opened!"

Me and Skid went to the exit door. It was still locked though.

"Wait, so what door opened?"
"Pump look!"

A shadowy figure was on the stairs. He walked to us, which is spooky!

"Hi Mister Lemon! I am Skid, and this is Pump!" Skid introduces us to the tall lemon.. guy..

That shadowy figure was a lemon. His body was all black, except for his neck, being a weird shade of purple. He had big teeth on him, which is very spooky! I wish me and Skid were this spooky!

"Hello Skid and Pump, you can call me Monster."
"Wow, you're so spooky!"

Something's telling me that he isn't fine. I want to help him, but I don't know how.

(Skid's POV)

Monster is so SPOOKY! I want to be as spooky as him when I grow up!
Pump has a worried look on his face, I don't know why..

"Hey Monster, did you know today's the spooky month?" I tell him.
"Spooky month..?"
"Yeah! Do you know what's spooky month Monster?"
"What is the spooky month?"

Monster doesn't know what's spooky month? I should definetely tell him!

"Oh it's were you do this dance!"

I taught Monster how to do the spooky dance!

(A few minutes later)
(Pump's POV)

Me and Skid took Monster to the candy store!

"3 candy cans please!" Me and Skid said in unison.

Kevin had a terrified face as he gives us 3 candy cans. He was spooked from Monster because of how spooky he is!

"Thank you Kevin!" Me and Skid thanked Kevin as we left the candy store.

A few minutes later, like three or four minutes, the Hatzgang went to us.

"Hey losers! What are you doing here?"
"It is the spooky month!"

(3rd Person's POV)

Robert and Ross were shaking at the sight of Monster.

"R-Roy.."
"What?!"
"Don't you see w-what's behind them?"

Roy looked at Monster and they ran away.

"Bye!" Pump says as him, Skid, and Monster waved their hand to the Hatzgang.

"Let's go to my house!" Skid suggests. They agreed and they went to Skid's house.

"Hey mom! Look at our new friend!" Skid says to Lila, his mom.
"Hey ki- Wha?!" Lila says terrified.
"Hi Skid's mom, I'm Monster." Monster introduces himself to Lila.
"Y-you can call me Lila, Monster."
"Let's go play games!" Skid said. Pump and Monster agreed.

(A few minutes later)

"Wait, you both have no mommy or daddy at all?" Skid asks both Monster and Pump. They nodded, but only Pump had a sad face.
"Well, I am an adult, so I no longer need any parents." Monster says.
"Wait, you can be Pump's dad! It would be so cool!" Skid said to Monster.
"Monster, will you adopt me pleeaasee?" Pump says to Monster with a cute looking face.
"O-ok, son." Monster responds.
"Yay!" Pump says in joy.

(Pump's POV)

"Guys it's almost time for sleep! You both should go home now." Skid tells us.
"Aww, bye Skid!" I said to Skid.

Me and dad went outside and we had one problem.
I live really far and dad lives in an abandoned mansion.

"Wait dad, were do we sleep?" I ask my dad.
"Where do you live?"
"I live really far from here.."
"I live in a place that's not safe for you.."
"But it's spooky! I wanna live there!"
"Wait really?"
"Yeah! Let's go now dad!"

Me and my dad walked to our new home. I didn't really need my stuff from my home, so I'm just going to leave them there.

We went inside our house. Dad showed me a proper tour of our house. He also told me about this cool song!

What's weird is that it doesn't rhyme, but I won't question it!
He's also feeling fine now, which no longer makes me worried. What helped it, though?
But what's important is, he's fine!

So, I have a dad now! I wonder if he'll join me and Skid to celebrate spooky month, or do those boring things adult do.

He lead me to my bedroom and I went to sleep.
