I think the only reason I don't want to do that is because of the amount of times this has happened :
mom : you should cut your hair
me : why?
mom : it would just look better and be easier to take care of if you did
me : but I like it long like this
mom : but you should cut it
me : but I don't want to
mom : well you should
cue this same conversation happening like a week later
P.S. she means cut down to like, shoulder length
