Y/n POV

I quickly walk past everyone in the hallway as they stop and stare. I felt embarrassed as I tried to cover as much of my body as I can.

It's not that I don't like my body, it's just that I'm insecure at times like this. Especially with when I'm in a building full of pretty, hot looking people.

As I hear more and more people whispering and snickering I began to speed walk only to roughly bump into someone causing me to trip backwards.

"Hey! Watch where your goi-" he turns around and looks down at me

"Oh- um...I'm sorry bakugo, I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine, just make sure you look ahead next time alright?" He said as he reached down to help me pick up my belongings while everyone stared in shock

"Bakugou, what're you doing man?"

"Yeah your seriously not gonna help that fatty are you?"

"Shut up ass wipes!" They immediately quiet down with shocked faces

"T-thanks, I should b-be going now" I slowly try and walk past him until he calls my name

"Wait, y/n..."

He knows my name? I thought

"Yeah...?"

"Let me walk you to class at least" I notice a slight blush from his cheeks as he turns his head

But why would he want to walk me to class? He must feel sorry for me

"O-okay, sure..." he comes up beside me as we walk to class together

As we walk the halls people began to avoid our gaze as we walk past. Probably because of Bakugou

"What're you all dumbasses looking at?!"

Everyone frantically turn away without hesitation. I then have enough courage to finally speak up

"Um, bakugou?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you help me back there? Especially me?"

"Why not- i mean becuase, you don't deserve that, even when you work hard enough"

"Oh..."

"And besides, people have better things to worry about other than someone's appearance"

"Well, thank you but...aren't you disgusted by me?"

He slowly looks me up and down "what're you talking about, you look nice"

"I...do?"

"Yeah, in a way"

"Thanks" we continue to walk together until we reach the classroom

"Thank you for walking me back"

"Don't mention it" as he walks past me I feel a piece of paper transported into my hand

"I quickly look at the note saying: if you don't have anyone to talk to afterwards, here's my number
(Xxx-xxx) good luck nerd

I faintly smile as I read the note over and over again until I herd the bell ring for class

"Oh shoot!"
