Y/n POV

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"

"Yes, I'll be fine I promise"

Ever since the whole kidnapping situation, my dad has been a bit paranoid and overprotective....

I don't blame him but I'm sure chances of that are 0%....I think

"Okay then, be sure to come back safely" he says while hugging me

"I will"

"And make sure to tell Izuku I said hi"

"Sure thing"

I grab my keys and head out to meet Izuku at his house.

[a/n: I know I paired you up with bakugo but I just had to squeeze in some other characters like our broccoli boi here🥦]

I close the door behind me and walk up the street

-time skip to broccoli boi-

I knock on the door to izuku's house and wait patiently until izuku's mom [can't remember her name] opens the door.

"Y/n! It's so good to see you, come on in!" She says with a cheerful voice

"It's good to see you too! How've you and izuku been lately?"

"We're doing great, thank you for asking."

"Hey, do you know where izuku is? We were planning on going somewhere for the afternoon."

"Oh of course, he's in his room as usual."

"Thanks!"

She nods her head as I look for izuku's room down the hallway.

I knock on the door waiting for a response.

I Izuku opens the door and I great him with a bear hug.

"Ah-y-y/n! You startled me!"

"Sorry bout that..."

"Oh it's fine, I just didn't expect you to come to soon."

"Is this a bad time...?"

"Oh uh-no! It's a perfect time!"

"Well then in that case let's go! Come on!"

"Sure thing! Let me just get ready!"

"Oh right"

-time to da arcade-

Me and Izuku make it to the arcade and begin to search for a game to play first.

I finally find a game to play as I hear Izuku and some angry voice.

I look for Izuku and spot him with some angry Pomeranian and two other guys towering over him.

Izuku seems to be embarrassed about something, so I go ahead and see what's up.

"And that's why you'll NEVER be a hero unlike ME!"

"Not with that attitude you won't." I say calmly and everyone including Izuku turns toward me.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

"You heard me the first time porcupine. I'f your gonna be a hero then start by not judging someone else just cause they don't have a quirk"

I can tell he's a bit taken back by this as well as Izuku but I didn't care. No one should make fun of others weather they have a quirk or not, I couldn't stand it.

"Bakugou bro! Your just gonna let her talk to you like that?"

Bakugo huh?

"Tch....whatever! There not worth out time anyways let's go!"

He says as him and his friends walk away.

"You alright Izuku?"

"Uh...yeah I'm fine, thanks"

"It's nothin"

I could tell he was still a bit shaken up

"We could always leave if you want..."

"No, I'm okay. Let's find a game to play"

He warmly smiles and I follow him

-Another time skip [sorry]

Me and Izuku decide to split up and play other games so we could meet up later

I look down at the tickets I won.

This should be enough. I thought

I head over to [place where you buy prizes with tickets] And I spot an All Might handbook on "How to become a hero" and hand in my tickets.

"Tch, you gonna buy the book for that useless deku?"

I recognize the voice as I turn and find the same hot-headed porcupine that was bullying Izuku earlier

"Why does it matter to you?"

"You know he's not gonna become a hero without a quirk right?" He says smirking

I wanted to smack it right if his face but instead I use it with words

"Listen, I don't know what it is with you and quirks but I'm sure being quirkless is the least if most people's problems"

He stands there with a shocked look on his face like he's never been stood up to before.

And I was gonna ruin it for him

"I also have no idea with whatever you have against him but you need to get your act together and stop being so full of yourself, it's not that hard" I say

"Why are you protecting that useless nerd anyway?!"

"Cause he's my friend and weather you like it or not I believe he's gonna become a hero someday....maybe even better than you someday"

He has a look of guilt as I grab my prize and walk away from him until he suddenly grabs my wrist

"Wait..."

"What now?" I groan

"What's you name?"

"Excuse me...?"

"I said what's your name damnit!"

"Y/n"

"Tch" he says then walks away

Oh well I didn't care anymore.

I walk back over to Izuku as I notice hes on the verge of tears

"Izuku! Are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine...it's j-just I've never heard anyone stick up for me like that before"

I bring him into a hug

"It's nothing, just know that you can become a hero, even without a quirk"

He hugs me back as I remember the prize I won for him.

"Oh, I also got you this!"

I give him the book as he wipes his tears away

"No way! I didn't even know these existed! Thank you so much!"

So wholesome

This time he goes in for a hug as soon as I spot a familiar hot-head staring back at me then leaving the arcade

God he's such a hot-head
