This chapter is kinda bad, plus took a long time, and I apologize. I'm sick so fingers crossed its just a cold 😬 And fair warning this chapter is literally all dialogue. My brain hasn't been able to comprehend things
Annabeth had done an amazing job with the cabins. They all looked amazing, Chiron agreed. Annabeth welcomed each of the camper nervously. She kept checking to see if Estelle was here and if Percy would be with her. She made sure they checked in and new campers got the orange camp tshirt. It was nice to see that some of her old friends were counselors or coming back for the summer too.
"Will! Nico!!" Annabeth threw her arms around the couple.
"Wait did we get more Hades campers?" Annabeth asked. Usually the cabin was just Nico.
"Nah I'm just here to give to the needy." Nico shrugged.
"He means he brought Happy Meals, a lot of Happy Meals." Will sighed.

Annabeth continued to check in campers and giving them cabins. She spotted the familiar brown hair of Estelle. She walked next to a boy with a backwards red hat. Estelle waved when she spotted Annabeth.
"Annabeth!!!" She ran ahead of the group coming in and she wrapped her arms around her. "Oh! Oh! Oh! Tell me what cabin I'm in!!!! Please." Estelle was jumping up and down.
"Cabin 7, Apollo." Annabeth handed her a shirt and the boy stepped behind her.
"Makes sense you should hear her voice." Estelle blushed. Annabeth's formed an O with her mouth. Annabeth had a silent conversation with Estelle.
Is that Josh?
Yeah
I see...
When Annabeth looked up from Estelle she saw black messy hair. It was Percy. She ducked her head down fast, praying that he couldn't see her. Of course Percy spotted her in an instant. He blushed about the thought that she was really here. He had a chance to fix things. Percy debated on walking over but then he decided not to. He might get Annabeth all fiery in front of everyone and he doesn't want that. Neither does Annabeth. She looked up and made eye contact with him. They both looked away quickly. Annabeth kept handing out t-shirts. She went to the bathroom so another counselor took over.
When she stepped out Percy stepped out of the men's bathroom at the same time. They both stared at each other.
"Uh hey." Percy blushed and scratched the back of his neck. Annabeth frowned.
She but her lip and spoke through gritted teeth. "I found you letter Jackson."
"Oh thank goodness, you know I love you-"
"I accept your apology about the kiss but that doesn't mean that I still don't feel betrayed." She stepped closer so their noses were touching. Percy had never seen her this mad in her life, well other then when she sees Luke. "Don't think that just because your here at camp and so am I, that this is gonna make things right. And for god's sake Percy lay off Josh. He's a twelve year old boy, he doesn't have any intentions."
Percy wanted to kiss her. She was right in front of his face. He knew it would only make things worse if he did. To be honest Annabeth was fighting her own urges too. She missed him but she can't just give second chances around.
"You win Chase, but I'll wait for you. As long as it takes." Percy took off and Annabeth relaxed herself.
"Percy wait!!" She called. He turned back and smiled. "Truce. Just for the summer." She reached out her hand. He shook it. "I promise to resist the urge to smack you right now." Annabeth smirked with her glaring eyes. Percy just laughed.
