Clarance

Welp that was a bust, Hawk and I weren't allowed to see Miguel yet it was disappointing but at least he is awake.

I looked around the Cobra Kai dojo, Hawk was teaching Bert some sort of Karate move. 

"Class," Kreese said coming out of his office "You worked hard today, so before you're dismissed I have a little treat for you" 

Hawk and I gave each other excited glances I wondered what it could be 

"I wanted to introduce you to a friend of mine" Kreese pulled a cute mouse from behind him

I shook Hawk excitedly the mouse was so cute "cool" Hawk said 

"What's its name," Burt asked 

"I don't know, what should it be" Kreese looked at all of us for answers 

"Hawk jr," I said and Hawk playfully punched me 

Kreese smirked "Burt what do you think" 

There was something going on I didn't know what it was but Sensei Kreese didn't seem like the type of person to get us a pet mouse.

"Umm Clarance?" Burt suggested smiling 

I thought that was a cute name

"Clarance" Kreese repeated "good" He handed Burt the mouse 

"He's so cute guys," Burt said holding the mouse up

I laughed and wrapped my arms around Hawk 

"You know it's almost lunchtime" Kresse continued 

"Can I feed him" Burt gasped 

"No" Kreese walked over to something covered with a black cloth "but you can feed him" he lifted the cloth and inside a glass terrarium was a black snake that hissed.

Hawk looked at me in awe, I wanted to touch it I don't know why.

"What does he like to eat," Burt asked nervously 

I knew the answer and gulped Burt would be sad when he found out.

"He likes to eat...clearance" 

There was a silence as Burt looked terrified 

"Don't be shy, come here" Kreese waved Burt over to the snake 

Burt slowly walked forward glancing down at the little mouse wiggling in his hands. 

Kreese opened a flap to the cage so that Burt could put the mouse in, I knew Burt wouldn't do it he continued to walk closer to the cage, Kreese looked at him expectantly, Burt gave the mouse one last glance and shook his head

"I can't" he whispered 

"That's ok, I understand Clarance is your friend " Kreese stroked the mouse "who here can feed this snake" 

I wanted to I knew Hawk would want to as well I looked at Hawk and he looked at me 

"I can" we both yelled at the same time 

"Olivia" Kreese picked me he handed me the squirmy mouse, I walked over to the cage I took a deep breath, and let Clarance go in. 

The snake struck Clarance killing him and all the while the mouse was making terrible noises. 

I walked back to Hawk he smiled and gave me a hug, I felt remorse I didn't think I would but the mouse was so innocent. 

"Who else objected to that" Kreese asked and a few people raised their hands "You're off the team get out" he yelled 

"B-but" Bart stammered 

"I said OUT" Kreese snarled "GET"

Hawk tightened his grip on me both of us were a bit scared of Kreese. Hawk took my hand and we went to go see Kreese in his office. 

"Sad to see your friends go," he asked us 

"No Sensei" Hawk said, "but is this the right time to make cuts?"

"We are already down students after the school fight" I added 

Kreese smirked at us "this is addition by subtraction, a true cobra feels so sympathy for its meals"

Hawk looked uncomfortable 

"Do you have a problem with that?" 

"No Sensei," we said 

"Good" 

"But with Miguel in the hospital, we might not be able to get new recruits," Hawk said 

"We will, in due time first we are going to need to strengthen our core, with Diaz gone we are going to need a new champion" He looked at Hawk "Someone with no fear, and no mercy" 

Hawk gave a small smile and nodded his head, I didn't like that Kreese was already looking to replace my brother but Hawk would be my first choice for the job.
