"Never underestimate your enemy, even if you think they are weaker than you" Kreese was saying on a Tuesday afternoon "you always have to stay one step ahead of them, it's the only way to guarantee a victory, is that understood"
"YES SENSEI" the whole dojo yelled in unison ever since Aisha had moved and tory left I was the only girl left in Cobra Kai.
"Good" Kreese continued "let's see if you truly understood the lesson, I want you to kick this tree off the top" he pointed to a small bonsai tree on the top of a wooden pole "Greg you start"
A tall boy with ginger hair stepped forward he tried to kick it off the top but ended up splitting his pants I looked at Hawk, I knew how to do it and so did he.
"Pathetic" Kreese scoffed "Rickenburger, show him"
The brown-haired boy took a running start and tried to kick the tree he failed and landed hard on the ground.
"Stop your sniveling" Kreese said "Olivia your turn"
I looked at Hawk, he nodded at me to do it, I decided to do it wrong I knew Hawk wanted to be the champion and if I did it correctly and he didn't Kreese would put his faith in me.
I took a running start and tried to kick the tree and as I was expecting I fell to the ground, Kreese didn't say anything as I returned I think he knew that I could have completed it if I had wanted to.
"I can do it Sensei," Hawk said
"well, what are you waiting for?" Kreese asked Hawk stepped up close to the pole "Don't you want a running start?"
"Don't need one" Hawk responded
He kicked the pole knocking the tree off, he smiled and looked at Kreese
Kreese laughed "not bad, not bad at all"
"But he cheated" Rickenburger complained and I gave him a dirty look
"No, he didn't," Kreese said "unlike you, he did exactly what I told him to do if your mind is agile, so are you that's the best way to beat your enemy, not just with brute strength, you have to fight smart, do that and you always come out on top"
After class, I was getting water when Hawk wrapped his arms around me I smiled at him
"Hi," I said
"You shouldn't have done that," he said tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear
"done what?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, you could have kicked the tree down but you didn't so that I could"
"I don't know wh-"
"I love you for it, Olivia"
I grinned and kissed him
"come on let's go," Hawk said
The next morning I went back to school, I had a few classes before lunch, for some reason I was much more hungry today.
I walked into the cafeteria and sat with Cobra Kai, like always Hawk put his arm around me I'm not complaining though.
All of a sudden Demetri walked in with something very large covered in a plaid cloth.
"Hey are you ready to rock" He asked Yasmine I rolled my eyes
Hawk got up and began to use his soccer ball
"Our earth science presentation" Demetri finished
"I'm ready to go back to a world where we don't have to talk to eachother" Yasmine retorted
"Hey hey hey" Demetri "my popularity is on the rise while yours is stedialy declining but uh maybe we can meet in the middle like a sexual vediagram" Moon let out a loud laugh
"So what's under the sheet?" Moon asked
"Im glad you asked" Demetri said "Behold what scientists belive to be the valley when dinoaurs roamed the earth, go ahead press the hydrosaur egg"
Yasmine pressed it and there was a loud sond and some steam came out of the volcano "not bad, may parent's might not have to pay for my A this time" Yasmine smiled
"Oh your parents will never have to pay for an A again.
"Hey twenty two in a row new record" Hawk smiled at me I smiled back and blew him a kiss Hawk had been juggling the soccer ball then Hawk saw Demetri's lego thingy I knew this wouldn't end well but I didn't say anything.
Demetri was still rambling on about his lego thing when Hawk sent his soccer ball flying into the legos.
"Oh sorry man looks like my ball just got away from me" Hawk said
"That took me three weeks to build" Demetri moaned
"Took his soccer ball three seconds to destroy" I smirked
"Another week another pissing contest though I shouldn't be surprised since you love pissing so much" Demetri spat
"Why don't you shut the hell up" I yelled at him
"You landed one kick you got lucky" Hawk sneered
Sam appeared "You better back off or you won't be lucky" she stated
"Yeah like you'll start anything princess, why don't you go sleep around with someone else and break his heart" I snorted and sam shoved Hawk
"What is going on here Miss.LaRusso" Counsolor blackwood asked "You know our new guidelines against physical contact, did she enter your person bubble without your verbal consent?" She asked Hawk
"Yeah she definitley triggered me in my safe space" Hawk said looking at the ground
"what are you talking about he started it by destroying my science project" Demitri yelled
"That was an accident" I said quickly "you probably shouldn't bring your toys to school anyway"
"I don't want excuses I just want you all to respect eachother" Counsolor Blackwood said
"She's right guys, we should stop the aggresion, micro and macro" Hawk said
"Oh give me a break" sam spat
"Consider this a warning Miss.LaRusso oh and pick these legos up someone could get hurt"
Hawk and I sniggered while our friends smirked in the background "For you pansys no space is safe" Hawk laughed and threw his arms around me
"Bye princess" I smirked at Sam.
