You were sitting on the swing in the backyard when Shoto sat on the swing beside her while the others are having their own conversations and watching movies in the living room while they wait for the others to arrive.
"He's their father Shoto..."
"When has he ever been a father to them..." he scoffed
"We both know it's my fault he didn't get to be in their life"
Shoto darted his gaze to you who's looking at the ground ashamed. He placed his hand on her cheek and lifted her chin with his other hand forcing you to look at him.
"Y/n. It's not your fault okay? You did what you had to do. You did what you thought is the best thing for them, so don't ever blame yourself."
You chuckled pulling away from him and returning to look at the ground with a faint smile.
