I wake up to a robot slowly making its way over to the core. I look around for Wanda but she is gone. I look back at the robot its hand about to touch the core.
"No!" I yell but it was too late the robot hit the core and the city started to fall I felt myself begin flown up to the roof hitting my back. I groaned in pain. I somehow managed to stand up on the roof
"Beckett, on my mark!" I hear tony voice through the earpiece my breathe quickens as the adrenaline runs through my body, plasma in my hands is beginning to grow. "Now!"
With a scream I shoot the core with my plasma, making it fly into little pieces, some of the core scratches my body, then the city explodes into little pieces, I get thrown away by the blast , the thin air begins to become less thin although it gets harder to breath, the cold air is rushing past my ears. My eyelid feel heavy, I can't keep them open, I close them shut, my lifeless body flying down towards a quick death, Every soul I have killed flashes before my eyes. It stops when I hear Starks voice.
"Beckett! Where are you?" Tony shouts through the ear piece, concern taking over him. "Beckett! Answer Nick! Nick!, Dammit Friday, locate her now!"
I want to answer but for some reason I didn't, My breathes became quicker i was struggling to breath, when two metal arm wrapped around me, and flying me out of the danger, I opened my eyes and if Stark didn't find me I would have been in the ocean by now. Dead.
"Nick!" Tony's voice echoed through my mind. "Nick are you okay?"
"I-I don't know how long I can do his for." I say Falling in and out of being consensus.
'Do what?" His voice sounds worried but scared and Angry at the same time.
"P-pretend..." I say before i fall unconsensus.
