Matthew's POV
I dont even know how long I was awake, let alone when I ate last. I had 4 days in between my last concert and the next one in Denver. I had time but not much to figure out how to take care of her. I paced the room, something I had gotten quite good at doing.
A doctor slowly opens the door, startling me out of my trance. "Mr. Hauri, cam we speak a moment?" His voice is low but louder than a whisper.
"We did some tests on her brain and motor movement, she isn't brain dead, surprisingly since her brain did swell."
A sigh of relief escaped my lips as he continues. "We should be able to take her out of her medically induced coma after a couple of more days. We'll see what she can do then. "
I hold out my hand and he takes it and shakes it. The doctor quietly slips out of the room and Alex enters right after.
"Yo, Matthew, you look exhausted, go back to the hotel. You have a tour to continue."
"How the fuck am I supposed to perform with her here?"
He lays his hand on my shoulder and grips. A loud sigh is the only noise I hear besides the beeping of the monitors in the room.
"You gotta man, she wouldn't want you to stop for her, please?" Alex looks up at me.
"Man you're too short for this sob shit. Fine I'll go but someone's gotta look after shawty. They best treat her right at this hospital, or else."
I grab my jacket and follow Alex out the door. I take one more glance back at her. If I had stared one second longer I would have stayed, and I knew it wasn't good for me.

I grip my handle to my duffel bag tight as I shove my clothes into it, sloppily.
I kept looking over at our dividing door, just hoping she would walk through it but she never did. I felt my heart drop as Alex entered her side and slowly packed her stuff up.
I threw my bags on my bag cart as Alexander brought out (y/n)s stuff and loaded as well as the bell boy helped us bring it out to the car.
My flight to Denver was in complete silence, Alex made sure it was silent. He didn't really ask any questions until we parted ways when we landed in Denver International Airport. He was flying back to Canada for the meantime.
"Thanks man for being here" I hug him.
"No problem Gravy, make sure to call me when she wakes up."
............A couple of nights later..........
The lights blared in my eyes and the crowd was hyped as I came onstage, but nowhere to be seen was (y/n). I knew she wasn't backstage and it really sucked not to have here there.
The cues were given through my earpiece but I was almost in a daze as I performed. I tried my best to push. I had to for this sold out crowd. I had to for (y/n).
My act was over as soon as it happened, I can't even remember who was going after me, I think it was Trippy Tha Kid. I was just too gone to remember, I didn't intend to stick around.
A stage hand runs up to me with my phone. "They've called 9 times Mr Hauri!"
A Las Vegas caller ID appears on my screen.

Your POV
My throat burned as I gagged on the tube as they pulled it out of my throat. I glance around, a chair was set up beside my bed as if someone had been there.
"Dont talk yet sweetheart, you just woke up. " I stare up at the ceiling, pain radiating down my legs and my back.
"W.....where...where's Matthew....?"
