Cultural appropriation is when a person from a different culture uses somebody else's culture stereotypically or rudely.
If they are appreciating the culture, that is not cultural appropriation.
When a kpop idol is using mexican culture correctly, do I go and say that they are doing cultural appropriation? No.
When a kpop idol is using mexican culture stereotypically or badly, do I go and say they are doing cultural appropriation? Yes, but I actually say something about it the right way.
