‘How did the situation evolve into this’ Avyrain thought as they were kissing together

Avyrain was laid on the bed while Valt was on the top of her

After a long deep kiss, their lips separate then Valt softly kissed Avyrain's cheek and got off her

"Let's get back to studying" Valt uttered as he turned off the television and walked back to the study table

Avyrain calmly sat across him and silently opened her book

‘Why did he suddenly stopped?’ Avyrain thought to herself

‘That was bad, I almost lost control of myself’ Valt thought to himself

Valt gazed at Avyrain who was reading her book as he thought ‘She seems nonchalant about it’

‘I can't go even further since our relationship is not even built with mutual love, she only agreed to be my girlfriend in name just so that guy would not pursue her’ he thought

‘Did I perhaps tremble while he kissed me just like Astrid?’ Avyrain thought as she flipped the next page

‘In the story the only reason why he didn't made love with Astrid was because she trembled while crying whenever things like this happens, but I don't think I trembled though rather it made me nervous’ she thought

After studying together, Valt drove Avyrain back to her house

Days passed and the results for the first semester came out, Avyrain got first place in the third years

"Avy senpai" Valt called out as he walked towards Avyrain who was buying a snack at the cafeteria

"You seem happy" Avyrain stated with a smile as she looked at Valt who was like a puppy wagging its tail

"Congratulations on getting first place" Valt happily stated grinning from ear to ear

"Oh the rankings were already posted?" Avyrain casually stated

Valt nodded his head then he happily said "You are so amazing, I can't believe I'd be a boyfriend of someone as cool as you senpai"

Avyrain laughed then asked "What about you?, what ranking were you in?"

"Oh! I forgot to look at the ranking of second years" Valt uttered as he awkwardly scratch his head

‘I think I did well on my exams, I should have checked it so Avy could praise me’ Valt thought to himself

"Did you come running here as soon as you saw what rank I was in?" Avyrain asked

Valt awkwardly smiled as he nodded his head

"Alright, let's go back and see what ranking were you in" Avyrain stated with a smile

Valt obediently followed behind Avyrain as they walked towards the ranking board

"Oh! you are in first place" Avyrain uttered the moment she looked at the ranking of second years

Avyrain looked at Valt with a smile as she pulled him down then reached out her hand and gave him a pat on the head

"You did a good job" Avyrain stated with a smile

Valt was smiling widely as he happily got his head patted by Avyrain

‘Those two are at it again, gossips had been spreading how cool this couple are since they're both beauty and brains but the way I see it is like a master and its pampered pet’ Iris thought as she looked at them from afar
