That makes us both
It's the only way we'll be close
Surprise me when you go
Hold back for a moment
Just for a little
Let me see the expression on your face
As you watch the expression on mine
Should it be enough to make you stay?
Don't walk off into the mist
Don't gaze for too long at the darkness
I get the hint
You want to leave
Maybe I can drop to my knees
And beg at your feet
I'll tell you my secrets
I'll tell you my death wish
Blow me a kiss
And hope for the best
It must have been
Something I said
I think I let the comfort of life
Get to my head
Your eyes are empty
My heart is hurting
Time refuses to heal me
Hoping to be stitched back together
I guess we'll see
I'm under the water
Struggling to breathe
You're under the dirt
Six feet deep
Alone I am
And alone we will be
Abandonment starts in the process
Of an emotional death
Tears come to life
When there's nothing left
Shattered bones are made out of glass
The runways are awfully fast
Rage is gone in the aftermath
New lives are being fulfilled
We're all happy
So what's the big deal?
Nobody else is draped in black
Except for you
Who was the unlucky one
Stuck with the hourglass
