my eyes flutter open softly i flip to one side looking for my phone remembering what today was im traveling all the way to California for vidcon i pick up my phone the time was nearly 8:00 am i get up needing a shower i play some music first to get me in the mood, after all: today is a big day. hoping in the shower i wash myself off coming out i decide i should wear comfier clothing, meaning no binder. changing into a pair of gray sweatpants and a oversized hoodie i decide this will work slipping on a pair of shoes i grab my bags that were pre-packed

I had taken an uber to the airport deciding I did not want to pay for parking for the week that I was staying. grabbing my bags i walk into the airport they weigh my bags and check through them including my carry-on taking back my small backpack, they took my bags i wait at the terminal, me and Wilbur are meant to take the same plane so i was now waiting

Wilbur's pov

i was up laying in my bed scrolling through twitter for a bit before deciding i should probably get ready changing into a t-shirt and some jeans not bothering to shower due to i had taken one the night before, i grab my bag i bought a my laptop, in a laptop case that also held my phone and any other electronics, but that was just my carry-on, i had a seperate duffle bag that held my clothes and stuff

(we are going to skip the luggage check and stuff because it would be too repetitive)

I walk into the terminal seeing you. I smile walking forward towards you "hey!" i say you smile back "hi!'' I take out my phone "wanna take a photo for twitter. i think it'll be funny"i ask "sure why not" you say grabbing a make out of your bag i hold up my phone as you put on the mask the covered my mouth and nose snugly, i take the photo asking you if the photo is good you nod and i post the photo

"flight 537 to LA california, is now boarding." looking around at the passport checker

"and that's us!" you say heading over to the line, we end up being 3rd in line, letting a pregnant woman, with a child go in front

Eventually we were on the plane, there was an extra seat so I got the aisle, and you got the window, we set our carry-ons in the middle seat.

and after 30 minutes of waiting we were now taking the nearly 16 hour flight to vidcon

we actually had a rather busy schedule that week, getting there on monday, we planned to sleep, knowing we wouldn't get the best sleep on the plane, tuesday, is the first day of vidcon where i have a meetup and y/n is gonna be with me for a little bit, Wednesday, we plan on relaxing with our friends, thursday, were hanging out with fans, then friday, we can relax once more

After the boring 16 hour flight which we both slept through, it was finally time to get off.

we go to this giant conveyor belt, which we quickly find our luggage and we are able to get an uber to the hotel.

walking in i immediately head to the receptionist

"welcome to the <blank> hotel! do you have a reservation or are you getting a room upfront?" she asks with a cheerful smile

"hi, uh we have a reservation, it should be under william gold?" i hear a snicker from behind me and glare at you

"yes i see it right here! there are two room keys, your room number is 201 that is on the 2nd floor! have a great stay!" the receptionist says, i grab the keys with a thank you, handing one to you we take the elevator up to the room finding it quickly i walk in taking in our surroundings

It had two large beds, a bathroom on the right and a dresser to the left along with a closet when you walked in. i set my luggage down next to what i claimed as my bed, laying down, face down
