they're laughing, they're smiling, they're getting closer. the dreams are feeling even more real then they have before. kiyra is sweating, hallucinating, crying, screaming, you name it.

kiyra's boyfriend, bobo, sees her getting like this. this has happened before in the past so he knows what to do. he waits until she wakes up so he can comfort her.

we wait.
and we wait.
and we wait.

kiyra finally wakes up, gasping for air, wanting to give away to earths voice that was calling her name for a very long time now. she sits straight up in the moment of the breathing being spaced out, looking around for bobo.

she sees that he is right next to her, and she leans into him quickly and sobbing. he just lets her lay on his lap until she calms down. "are you okay now?" his deep voice caresses her ears.

"i- i think i'm okay." kiyra takes a deep breath before sitting up. kiyra and bobo make direct eye contact. this makes kiyra tear up again, so she has to lean into bobo again. he sighs deeply, "kiyra look at me."

she looks at him, "yeah?"

"this has been going on for about 2 years now, i feel like we should get this checked out because it's kind of concerning me."

"you really think so?"

"yes, i do."

"alright, we can do it tomorrow after lunch."

"sounds good, but let's get some sleep now so we won't be sleep deprived." bobo chuckles to himself.

"are you sure that dream i have, i won't have?"

"i promise you it won't be there or it won't happen or whatever is going on, okay?"

"okay." she sighs. they both lay down before closing their eyes and falling asleep.

bobo is already awake, making breakfast for them both while kiyra is still sound asleep. she wakes up to the smell of bacon and scrambled eggs. she stretches and yawns before getting up to go the kitchen.

"morning baby." bobo says as he turns around for a hug from kiyra.

"morning." she smiles, hugging him back. she looks over his shoulder to see food being made, "ooooh what are you making?"

bobo stops hugging her, "i'm making us some breakfast." he has a big smile forming. kiyra smiles back and sits down at the table waiting for the food to be done.

bobo finishes after only like about 5 minutes and he puts the food onto the plate so he can hand it to kiyra. a fork gets handed to her and she starts to eat.

"this is really good." kiyra looks up at bobo, with food still in her mouth.

"thank you." he smiles big. she smiles back before finishing her food.

they both finish their food about 5 or so minutes later and kiyra gets up to put her plate down in the sink but she falls down unconscious. the glass plate breaks into pieces as bobo gets up. "kiyra." he starts to shake her, "kiyra!" he cry's out.

he sits down and he thinks of all of the possible reasoning for this.

could she be pregnant?
no way, we never had sex!
what if she cheated on me?
fuck.

he sighs deeply before picking kiyra up and walking over to the car keys. he grabs them before walking out the door and heading to his car to drive away. he sets kiyra down on the passenger seat and closes the door. he then walks over to the drivers seat, starts the car, and quickly drives off.

bobo parks his car in the hospital's parking lot. he gets out and picks kiyra's unconscious body up, bringing her in.

"hello what are you here for?"

"my girlfriend fell down unconscious and i don't know what caused it."

the doctor looks up and gasps, "i'm sorry, we can't help you. you should go to this location instead." the doctor hands bobo a piece of paper.

"what? what the fuck do you mean 'we can't help you', that's bullshit."

"i'm sorry sir, we can't."

"but i can." a male voice comes out from around the corner, "follow me."

bobo sighs before following this man into a room, a room where it's dark.

"why is it so dark in here?"

"because.." he turns the light on, "it wasn't in use."

bobo chuckles in disappointment of himself.

god you're such a fucking idiot bobo.

he sets kiyra down onto the table and then sits down on the chair that is across from the doctor.

"alright so what brought you in today?"

"my girlfriend fell down unconscious and then turned pale immediately. i don't know what caused this at all."

the doctor puts that information onto his computer, "alright, anything else?"

"that's it sir."

"mhm." he closes his computer, walking over to kiyra. "so you said she turned pale right after?"

"yes sir." bobo starts to worry.

"alright, so we will have to wait until she wakes up and we can move on." he smiles weirdly before grabbing his computer and walking out. bobo sighs in fear.

kiyra finally wakes up after being out for about an hour. "wha- wher- where am i? how did i get here?"

"kiyra!" hobo gets up and hugs her right away, "i've been so worried."

"where am i?" her voice gets louder.

"keep it down, we are at the hospital. you fell down unconscious and i needed to bring you in." bobo runs his fingers through her hair before getting up to find the doctor. he walks around for a little bit before finding him.

"excuse me sir? she's awake now."

"i'm coming." he speeds walk past bobo. bobo follows behind him as he walks into the room. "hello ms. kiyra, how are you feeling?"

"what's going on?"

"how are you feeling? he repeats himself.

"i don't know."

"mhm. so did you feel yourself go unconscious?"

kiyra nods her head.

"did you feel yourself go cold and pale?"

"yeah, why?"

"because.." he hesitates and sighs, "you're a vampire."

"I'M A WHAT?"

"you're a vampire." he starts to tap his pen on his boards before walking out of the room.

kiyra turns to bobo, "is this why the government made us move to somewhere colder and far away from people?"

"i guess so." he sounds upset.

"well shit." kiyra gets upset aswell.

"then why did you fall down though?"

"i don't even know, i don't care. all i care about is going home and sleeping."

"fine, let's go." bobo picks kiyra up and starts to walk out of the room to the front of the hospital. "have a great day." one of the doctors say before we leave.

kiyra somehow got mad at that and tried to kill her but bobo quickly stopped her. "let's go, now." he rolls his eyes, "god why can't shit just be normal?"
