Yoongi's POV

Have you seen those scenes in the movies where the sky changes real quick to show that time had passed? It was one of those scenes here. I sighed, "Hey Yeosang, school starts today," I smiled at the camera in front of him. "it's still snowing heavily in Daegu; the roads are blocked, so we can't go," Yeosang replied over the phone, munching on his breakfast. "Yeah," I smiled softly. "Yoongi, I can sense something is off about you. what's wrong?" Yeosang inquires, making me tear up instantly. "I-I broke my promise, Sang," I said, my voice breaking. "What?" Yeosang asked, frowning in confusion. "I-I cried," I confessed, wiping his unshed years away.

"W-what?" Yeosang asked, choking on his banana milk after a few seconds. "Hoseok didn't want to be friends with m-me an-and I broke down," I said in a smaller voice, shrinking. "He did what?" Yeosang asked after recovering from the sudden shock, wheezing still. "He broke out friendship," I sniffled, bursting out in tears. "I s-swear I didn't say- say anything me-mean!" I hiccuped, hiding my face in my hands as I bawled my eyes out. "I know, but why did he do that?" Yeosang asked, and I stopped crying after a few minutes.

"Because I am boring, ugly, useless, and whatnot," I grit out, chuckling bitterly at my pathetic self. "What makes you think something like that?" Yeosang asked, frowning. "Hoseok said it himself," I stuck my bottom lip out, tearing up once again. "He's a useless piece of shit," My cousin growled, clenching his jaw. "does it even matter?" I shrugged, letting a stray tear fall, "Because to Mama, we're still her two sons who are best friends," I sighed, tilting my head back so my tears won't fall anymore. "What's the point of blinking your pain away, Yoongz?" Yeosang asked, biting his lip. "I'm sorry, it's out of habit," I replied, sniffling. "Okay, but I need to go- I have school," I added, smiling softly. "Say hi to Hwa for me," Yeosang smiled back, and they hung up.

I shrugged and looked at my bag of cosmetics. "Hoseok isn't here anymore, be confident," I encourage myself, unzipping the bag and running my hand over my mascara, opening it. "Okay, I can do this," I put my mascara on, making a funny face of surprise, "Wow, I actually did it," I muttered, closing the lid. "Okay, Yoongi, now's the main part. You go to school and don't look at the man who broke your heart," I try my best to not cry again, picking my bag up. I smiled at my reflection and walked out.

At School.

Breathing in deeply, I took a step inside the campus, looking around for somewhere silent since class hadn't started yet. Immediately I felt judgemental stares on me. I creased my eyebrows in confusion. I wanted to avoid any crowds today because I know how fast news spread. I had decided earlier that I wouldn't go to the place that was Hoseok's and my hangout spot. "Okay, Yoongi, you got this," I muttered, taking further steps in, "What are you staring at? If you have something to say, then say it," I shouted, blinking my frustration and heartbreak-filled tears away calmly. The students didn't reply but turned away from me, looking through a peripheral vision. I frowned harder, "BITCH, SAY IT!" I demanded, balling my fists in frustration. "Is it true that Hoseok hyung and you aren't friends anymore?" A boy asked, making me freeze.

"So it is," The boy sighed, rolling his eyes. I felt my eyes prick with tears as I jogged away, so no one would see. I looked down, my eyes heating up even more, as I crashed on a male and yelped, both landing on our butts. "watch where you're go- Yoongi?" I heard a familiar voice chirp. I blinked my tears back quickly.

Third-person POV.

Yoongi looked up from the ground to him, his jaw clenching in jealousy and anger. "Seokjin," he glared. "Hey, I'm sorry! are you okay?" Seokjin smiled innocently, but there was a hint of the devil behind that sparkle in his eyes. "I am, thank you," Yoongi replied, his eyes never leaving that of Seokjin's. "Why do you look so serious? Did I say something wrong?" Seokjin asked, holding his hand out for Yoongi after he stood up. Yoongi dropped his gaze to Seokjin's pale, smooth hand and narrowed his eyes. "Thanks," He muttered, standing up without the other's help.

Seokjin chuckled awkwardly, withdrawing his hand. "I may not like you, to be very honest, but let me make this very clear, don't you dare break Hoseok's heart," Yoongi roared, his tired and exhausted eyes screaming fire. "I won't let him reach any harm as long as I am here, do not worry," Seokjin replied, patting Yoongi's shoulder as he took steps that took him away from Yoongi.

As Yoongi looked back at the school gate for no reason whatsoever, he widened his eyes, freezing dead in his tracks.

Hoseok was on his phone as he took a sip of his soda with a gentle 'ah!'. He blasted the music in his headphones, crossing the road like it was no big deal, not noticing the car rushing toward him. He smiled softly at the tune and felt two arms hug him tighter than ever. He yelped, closing his eyes out of instinct.

The next thing he knew, he heard something shatter; his arms squeezed against his torso as he heard tires screech. His headphone flew off from his ear as he whimpered in shock. He looked to the left as he fell on the road.

The last thing he remembered was Yoongi's body covered in blood, smiling softly at Hoseok as his body went limp, a tear rolling down his red cheeks.
