on a black dress and slipped some stakes inside it. I put on some black heels and pranced down the stairs.

"Please promise me you'll wear that if you kill me," Damon said smugly from the couch. I gave him a death glare before going to touch up my makeup. I slicked on the bright red lipstick I always do during AN AWESOME VAMPIRE ASSASINATION!!!!!

Chapter 16.9?

Damon followed me as I pranced out to the car and went to get in the driver's seat.

"Oh no you don't," He said, stopping me by putting his arm in the way. I crossed my arms because I had figured he wouldn't let me go without a fight.

"What?" I asked, still looking as angry as I could.

"You're not going without me," He stated. The door slammed shut and he pulled me over to the other side of the car. His hands slid behind me on the roof and his body came dangerously close to mine.

"Let me go Damon," I said stiffly. It was so hard not to show him what he could do to me... I mean, what kind of girl wanted to show a 'player' that he could turn her to jell-o in an instant? Not me, even if he is my fiancé...

"Hmm, I'll have to convince you then," He started. He leaned in closer. "Do you know how much safer it will be if I go with you? We don't want the fragile human breaking," He joked. My grey eyes held their stone-like sheen and my arms stayed crossed. Before I could even think of doing anything Damon pressed his warm lips to mine. I did my best not to kiss him back, and I almost caved, until I pushed him away. I still glared at him and he just laughed. What I didn't expect was for him to do it again. I turned away from him the second time.

"Serena, we can do this all night until you agree to let me come with you," He said. I turned back to face him with the most livid expression I could manage and he went to kiss me again. The kiss was full of passion and that time, I couldn't take it anymore. My hands went around his neck and brought him closer. He grinned against my lips but I refused to let him go. He kissed me sweetly one last time before opening the door and pushing me in.

"Bastard," I muttered under my breath.

"I heard that," He said suddenly from the other side.

"You were meant to," I said bitterly from my side.

"I'll make it up to you later," He said deviously from behind the wheel. We pulled up to the club in five minutes flat. Damon agreed that we split up and he would, well lurk around. He kissed me quickly before letting me go. I looked back at his dark form against the car and walked forward. Like always, I was let in straight away but turned to one of the bouncers.

"Have you seen a Marcus Dorian around?" I asked quietly. He nodded over to a redhead by the bar. I nodded at the bouncer and prowled through the people. 'Marcus' seemed to take note of me because I didn't even have to start the conversation.

"Hey gorgeous, would you like a drink?" He called over. I went over and smirked.

"Sure," I said leaning against the bar beside him while Damon lurked through the shadows. The guy ordered two beers.

"I'm Marcus," He said as we waited. "Marcus Dorian," He finished. I giggled at what he did on the outside sure, but on the inside I wanted to be in the backseat of that sports car with Damon. I heard a dark chuckle behind me and knew he'd been creeping on my mind.

"I'm Alicia," I lied, thinking to the insane girl I'd left in charge of my shop today. Marcus and I chatted, mostly about what we did, where we're from and stuff. Apparently I'm a college student from Denver on vacation.

"How would you like to go back to my hotel room with me?" I suggested, totally lying. He nodded and I led him out through the back. As we were walking, I grabbed one of the stakes from my boot. I backed Marcus up against the wall innocent as ever, and whispered sweet nothings in his ear. Before I knew it, I had pierced through his heart with a dagger of white ash. Hey, a girl can never be too careful. I heard his limp body drop with a thud and went through his pockets. I scored a wad of cash and rental car keys and ran back to the parking lot of the club.

"Did you hide the body?" he asked quietly so no one else could hear. I nodded and he helped me into the car. We put on a good show together. We drove in silence, so I laid my head back and closed my eyes. I tried to relax and didn't move when the car stopped.

"Serena," Damon called, his voice was smooth and I really didn't want to move. Damon's breath tickled my ear.

"Serena, come on," He called. I opened my eyes to see that we were not home, but at a beautiful piece of beach, really close to the water. I leaned forward to look at it all.

"Wow," Was all I could say. Somehow, Damon talked me into the backseat, and he massaged my shoulders. I relaxed in his arms and we watched the moon. Damon kissed my neck and I relaxed further into him. His fangs pierced through my delicate skin and I gave myself over to him. I was in too much of a haze to remember what happened in full detail, but I do know that I've never loved anyone as much as Damon, and I'll probably never make love to anyone again.

BTW i accidentally kept on forgetting the 'O' in Damon so it said Damn, which is an awesome representation i think ;P but i tried to fix it all and that's why this took longer to go up, please tell me if i missed any :) But anyways I would love to thank Tairoche for supporting me during the course of this 0.5 of a chapter because i've been really boring lately and haven't been writing, SORRY! But i am now so it s'all good :) lol but really thank you to everyone and i promise there will be another part FULL OF DITZY GIRLS very soon :) im so excited.
