what happened to me?

i told myself to stay away

not to get hurt

create distance

but i don't think i can anymore, it just gets harder and harder

at first she just seemed like a hyper 10 year old but as the week went on i started noticing how she's much more than that

her pouty face when she doesn't get a hug in the mornings or the way she ties her hair back when she plays volleyball, her competitive side, for some reason i can't seem to stop noticing these things

and i'm not even mad about it

now, here i am walking along the beach with her, side by side watching her eat her ice cream in peace

what have i gotten myself into

i was pulled out of my thoughts when i heard a voice

" hey suna this might be a bit out of the blue, but"

what was she going to ask

"do you hate me, or even dislike me "

i looked at her and raised my eyebrows, hoping she would elaborate on her sentence

she just sighed  and carried on " well it's just that ever since i came back and met you guys you've never even tried to talk to me, the only thing you tried to do was avoid me, i'm not stupid, i could tell that i was being avoided"

i opened my mouth to speak but i was interrupted

"but before you say anything, i just want to let you know that even if you don't like me i'm still going to get you to like me, i'm a bad bitch, i don't back down" she then paused  and looked at me, her (e/c) eyes looking straight into mine "i know i just know that there's so much more to you that i have no idea about, soon i'll get you to not hate me"

i just chuckled at her "(y/n) i don't hate you, and i'm not going to deny the fact that i did try to avoid you but that's a conversation for another time"

she looked surprised and tilted her head "you don't?"

i just gave her a small smile "no i don't, c'mon let's hurry up and get back we don't want the others having fun without us"

she just smiled brightly and laughed " pleasee bitch, i am the life of the party, so fun only starts when i get there"

" yeahyeah sure, just carry on walking"

she scoffed and carried walking, i followed right behind

once we got back the beach umbrellas had been set up and there was a bunch a towels laid out on the sand for people to sit on, the barbecue was being set up and meat was being taken out of the portable freezer

i turned around to tell (y/n) something but she was nowhere to be found, that was until i heard someone shout

"hey girls wait up for me!!"

i turned around and there she was in a (f/c) bikini running up to her friends who were going into the water

damn, just when i thought she couldn't be more perfect she shows up like this

her bikini hugging her curves and body just right

i heard snickers from behind me

aran had that look on his face "you gonna stop staring at her and join us in the water"

had i just been caught staring?

" yeah i'll be right there" and with that i had taken my top off and was walking up to the shore with aran and a few others

-- timeskip // (y/n) pov --

"so as i was saying, i bought this rea--"

i was just in the water talking to the girls about some random things when i was stopped mid sentence, i was no longer in the ocean talking to my girls i was in someone's arms

"put me down bokutooo" i never got a response all i heard was him muttering 3...2...1... under his breath

and when he had reached 1 i was launched into the air, this bitch really just threw me into the water huh

game on..

i landed in-between a group of guys, inarizaki and nekoma were having a chat when i was thrown into the middle by bokuto

as soon as i came up from under the water i just looked at the boys

"sorry"  they all had amused faces

i looked bokuto straight in the eyes " game on, imma beat your ass in a minute"

since i could still stand because there was a sand bank i tried my best to run but i couldn't

" HEY KURRO COME HERE A SEC, HELP ME BEAT BOKUTOS ASS"

he just smirked and came towards me and bent down " hop on my queen"

i jumped onto his back and together we charged towards bokuto and started water fight, 5 minutes later all of the groups were in a massive scale water fight

but my goal was still to overthrow bokuto

suna was in the perfect place so i called out to him

" hey suna, remember what you did during the volleyball match, well imma need you to lift me up and throw me again, just throw me towards bokuto"

he nodded and i swam to him

"okay 3...2...1" and i felt his hands around my waist, i was picked up and thrown to bokuto

i landed on his back and pulled him under the water with me

a wrestling fight later i had won and got my revenge

everyone was tired after all of that so some people sat down to talk or just relax

i was sunbathing peacefully until i remembered that i hadn't put any sun cream on

i got up and searched my bag only to find nothing

"hey samu can i use your sun cream, i forgot mine" he was also lying next to my with his sunglasses on, he just nodded and i walked up to his bag and grabbed the cream applying it to the areas that needed it

i went back to lay down on my towel, around 5 mins later i heard movement next to me

suna had brought his towel next to mine and was lying down

his hair was down since it had gotten wet before, he looked cute

i smiled to myself, i was step closer to getting to know him better

maybe even one step closer to happiness

i laid down next to (y/n) and osamu

even through the corner of my sunglasses i could see (y/n) smile to herself

at that moment i felt happiness
