right now i was just sitting in the stands with my group as we were discussing the match and just talking about anything in general

then i felt my phone vibrating in my pocket

i brought it out and checked the caller id

incoming call from misaki

i picked it up

"hey cap"

"hii y/n are miyoko and himari with you"

i looked around and saw them just the row above me talking with their brothers and a few others

"yeah they are, why?"

"okay you three make your way to the locker rooms, we're going to wish the mens team good luck before they go off the start warming up"

"ok sure ill let them know, we'll be there in 5 "

"see u now then"

and she hung up

i looked back and called out to the two "hey guys misaki wants us to get down to the lockers rooms now"

they nodded and said bye to the group that they were talking to as did i

we waved goodbye at them and then walked away down to the changing rooms

3 minutes and a lot of stairs later we had made it to the locker rooms

obviously we were the last ones there

misaki looked our way and smiled "okay now that we're all here i'd like to personally wish good luck to all of you on the mens team, no matter what the outcome we'll be proud of you no matter what. we'll be supporting front row in the stands" misaki was going to carry on her sentence but sakura interrupted her

"yeah but just remember if you lose then it just shows that we're the better team, you don't want to lose to us do you boys?"

a few of them chuckled and others just looked more determined than ever

no-one wanted to lose

after a few words of encouragement from myself and a few other team members we all left the locker rooms, the mens team went off onto court and we left to the stands

we were now just two rows in front of my friends so before the match started we all talked together

--timeskip 1 hr and a half later --

we were now 20 minutes into the last set and it was japan 23 - Germany 21

japan only needed 2 more points

we had a good lead

not a safe lead

but a good one

and just as that thought had gone through my head the crowd had erupted in cheers

i looked over at the court to see haru, the mens captain and outside hitter, smiling brightly

he had just scored against germany, they were now at set point

only one more point and then we could win a double championship title

imagine that

both of japans volleyball teams have won the finals making this the first time ever in history that a country wins the title for both their teams at the same time
